A senior commander of the ISIL Takfiri terrorist group fighting against the government forces in Deir Ezzur province, Eastern Syria, fled to neighboring Turkey.

“Amer al-Naklavi nicknamed Abu Mohammad fled Deir Ezzur into neighboring Turkey,” local sources told FNA on Saturday.

Al-Naklavi was commander of Jund al-Rahman terrorists group in the Eastern parts of Deir Ezzur province.

Jund al-Rahman has confisicated revenues of several oil wells in Deir Ezzur province.

On Wednesday, a team of Syrian army’s special forces raided a meeting of the ISIL commanders in an inside job and killed tens of the militants’ leaders.

At least 40 ISIL terrorist leaders were killed during the army’s raids on their gathering in al-Quriya district of al-Mayadeen city in Deir Ezzur province in Eastern Syria.

According to the military sources, the operation was the result of an inside job by the Syrian spies.

Syrian Army Wins Back Several Areas in Northwest

)- The Syrian army continued its military operations in Northwestern Syria, and seized back several regions from the Takfiri terrorists.

The army units backed by the national defense and tribal forces regained control of al-Zahour and al-Shababi regions in the Southern parts of Hasaka.

The Syrian forces also took back control over the villages of Souda Abd, Qabr al-Abd and Gheirat to the West of Kazvan mountain from the ISIL.

On July 1, the Syrian army and popular forces staged large scale attacks to completely clean up the main regions in Hasaka from the ISIL terrorists.

The army and Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG) forces managed to mop up Aziziya district in the Northeastern part of Hasaka from the terrorist groups.

On June 21, the YPG and the army soldiers continued to make more gains in their fight against ISIL around Tal Abyad, recapturing the villages of Umm Barmeel, Khatoun, Abu Husseini, Maheiri, Al-Rawiyah, and five small farms.

On June 15, Syrian Kurds fully retook Tal Abyad from the ISIL Takfiri militants after inflicting heavy casualties on them.

Syria in Last 24 Hours: Army, Hezbollah Intensify Attacks to Win Back Zobdani

The Syrian army and the Lebanese Hezbollah forces intensified their attacks against the Takfiri terrorists’ positions in the town of al-Zobdani in Al-Qalamoun region.

Al-Zobdani is now the scene of fierce clashes between the Syrian and Lebanese forces and militants of Jeish al-Fath terrorist group.

The Syrian air force and artillery units started pounding the terrorists’ positions as the country’s troops are advancing on the ground.

On Wednesday, the Syrian army and the resistance forces started fresh operations against the Jeish al-Fath terrorists in Al-Qalamoun region by advancing towards the town of al-Zobdani.

Al-Zobdani is located on the Eastern foothills of the Lebanese mountains and is currently under control of Al-Nusra Front and Ahrar al-Sham terrorists.

On May 20, the Syrian army and the Lebanese Hezbollah resistance fighters started their last round of military operations to purge Al-Qalamoun region in Damascus countryside of Takfiri terrorists.

On June 23, Syrian troops backed by fighters from Lebanon’s Hezbollah Resistance Movement made gains in their military campaign against ISIL in Qalamoun, recapturing new hilltops from the Takfiri group.

The Syrian forces along with Hezbollah fighters clashed with the ISIL terrorists in the mountainous region of Qalamoun, North of the Syrian capital, Damascus, and establishes full control over the areas of Shoabat al-Bakara, Thalaja, Shoabat al-Shakara, Beit Shakour and Taleel Hajj Ali.

Also in the past 24 hours, the Syrian army continued its military operations against the Takfiri terrorist groups in the city of Aleppo in Northern Syria on Friday, and killed tens of militants in heavy clashes.

More than 100 Takfiri terrorists were killed and 14 of their vehicles were destroyed in different parts of Aleppo, including Hleiseh, al-Jabboul, Ein al-Hanash, Deir Hafer, Maskaneh, al-Kastello, Tal Alam and Tal al-Treks, a military source announced.

An ammunition depot of the terrorists was also destroyed in al-Breij area of Aleppo.

The Syrian army is fighting against 13 Takfiri terrorist groups in Aleppo.

On Sunday, the Syrian armed forces made significant advances against the ISIL and al-Nusra terrorists in Aleppo province, near the borders with Turkey, reliable sources in the region said.

The sources said that the army men launched massive attacks against the ISIL terrorists’ positions in Dir Hafer, Banan al-Hiss, Khan Touman, which resulted in the destruction of the militants’ depot of ammunition and weapons.

Meanwhile, the army units confronted al-Nusra terrorists in al-Lairamoun, al-Ansari and Jub al- Qebba neighborhoods in Aleppo, where many terrorists were killed, others were injured and their vehicles were destroyed.

Elsewhere, the Syrian army forces destroyed a convoy of 50 vehicles carrying military equipment and weapons for ISIL terrorists in Reef (countryside of) Daraa, Southeastern Syria.

The attack was carried out after one of the Syrian army units gained intelligence about the convoy and its cargo in Saida town in Reef Daraa.

In a relevant development on Monday, at least 34 Chechen terrorists were killed in Daraa as the Syrian forces launched several strikes against the positions of the Takfiri militants.

The Chechen fighters who were some of the most well-trained terrorists had entered Saida town in Eastern Reef (countryside of) Daraa and hid in a cottage.

The Syrian army forces tracked down the Chechen group’s moves to the cottage and then received the order to destroy the hideout and kill all those residing in it.

The cottage was then destroyed when the Chechen snipers had a meeting with one of their ringleaders and tens of them were killed and wounded, most of them in critical conditions.

500 Sunni Iraqis from different tribes of the Western province of al-Anbar jointed the army and the popular forces to defend the country against the ISIL terrorist group.Al-Mesri al-Youm news website quoted Colonel Mohammad Jaloub, one of the commanders of military operations against the ISIL in Anbar, as saying that the trainings of 500 Sunni Iraqis have ended.

According to him, the Sunni volunteers are from different tribes of Anbar province and have ended their trainings in al-Habaniya camp in Eastern Ramadi.

“The cadets will be supplied with necessary weapons by the Iraqi government in the next few days and they will be sent to the battlefront to drive out the ISIL from Anbar,” Jaloub said.

Sources in Iraq confirmed on Friday that the army’s operations against the ISIL terrorist group in al-Heitaoyen area in the Southern parts of Fallujah resulted in the killing of at least 7 Takfiri fighters.

“The first army division is advancing against the ISIL terrorists in al-Heitaoyen area near Fallujah in the Western province of Anbar,” the sources said.

The sources further added that at least 7 ISIL fighters were killed and tens more were wounded in the army operations
