Our heart aches for the loss of the five brave men who lost their lives this week in service to our Nation. Last Memorial day I posted this song. I can’t think of a better one for today. I felt a tear last time I posted it. Today, five tears. Needless, senseless loss.

“Arlington” is sung from the viewpoint of a soldier, killed in battle and buried at Arlington National Cemetery. It was inspired by United States Marine Corps Corporal Patrick Nixon, who died in battle in 2003.
