Washington Navy Yard on lockdown after reports of a shooting | 02 July 2015 | The US Navy Yard in Washington DC has been placed on lockdown and employees have been advised to shelter in place after reports of a shooting. TV news footage showed scores of police vehicles and hundreds of police officers at the scene. Police are currently searching buildings on the campus but have thus far found no victims or gunmen.
