» Obama, Stalin Share Mt. Rushmore in Billboard Ad Alex Jones’ Infowars: There’s a war on for your mind!

Heading northbound on Interstate 41 in Oshkosh hangs a billboard that doesn’t quite fit with three-story ads plugging the Packers, brats, beer and hospitals.

This ad, which features President Obama’s face next to Mao Zedong, Adolph Hitler and Joseph Stalin, hangs just after the Snell Road underpass before the Jackson Street exit.

De Pere-based Jones Outdoor doesn’t display sexually explicit images, but outside that, customers expect freedom of speech, Christine Rutchik, Jones sales consultant, said.

Rutchik said a private party bought the Oshkosh billboard under a confidentiality agreement barring Jones from releasing the name of that person.

“If someone wants to pay to put it up, they can,” Rutchik said. “That particular ad is a design that the customer wanted.”

Rutchik said the ad went up Aug. 3 and will peer over the highway here until July 31, 2016.

“Obviously it’s someone’s own choice to pay out-of-pocket for their beliefs,” Rutchik said. “Usually businesses buy space like that.”

This ad reads: “My real father’s dream. Search it,” and offers a link to, a site manned by Alex Jones, once called the “most prolific conspiracy theorist in America,” by the Southern Poverty Law Center.

Jones also was called “the most paranoid man in America,” by Rolling Stone who once devoted a cover to Boston Bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, convicted brother of Tamerlan Tsarnaev, one of a million-plus fans of Jones’ radio show and documentaries.

Jones runs the syndicated radio program The Alex Jones Show from Austin, Texas. His websites, and, are vehicles for his views on the hoaxing of Sandy Hook, faked moon landings and the like.

Jared Loughner, who in 2011 shot and killed six, critically wounding Congresswoman Garielle Giffords in Tucson, was a fan of the video “Loose Change” — produced and financed by Jones — which acts as sacred text for 9/11 truthers, who claim the attack on the twin-towers was an inside job.

“Some unstable people are drawn to the bright flame of enlightenment that is so-called ‘conspiracy culture,’” Jones told Rolling Stone in 2011, responding to criticism that his doctrine fuels outward hatred. “Some trees are going to become uprooted in a storm like this. But we can’t stop telling the truth for fear of what telling the truth is going to do.”

Editor’s Note: Despite the claims of this author, Alex Jones interviewed Buzz Aldrin about the moon landings
and has repeated asserted his belief that they happened. The latter
paragraphs of this article are good examples of how local and national
news outlets have increasingly moved away from objective journalism
toward biased news “reports” that promote a “big government” agenda
pushed by the authoritarian Southern Poverty Law Center. The real point
to take from this article is Obama’s link to communist Frank Marshall
