Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Head of D.N.C., Backs Iran Nuclear Deal | 06 Sept 2015 | Representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz, the chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee, announced on Sunday that she will support the nuclear agreement with Iran that has roiled [and pleased] many in her Florida district. “I'll be casting my vote to support the deal and if necessary sustain the president's veto,” she told Jake Tapper on “State of the Union” on CNN. Ms. Wasserman Schultz telephoned President Obama on Saturday night to inform him of her decision.
