Political solution to Syria conflict only possible after terrorists defeated

Bashar al-Assad said it’s possible to reach a consensus on a political solution but it would be impossible to do anything unless terrorism in Syria is defeated. Speaking to Russian media, Assad also spoke about the refugee crisis Europe is currently facing. He said to resolve the refugee crisis the root causes of the problem should be eliminated. Assad added that if the Europeans are concerned about the fate of the refugees they need to stop supporting terrorist groups operating across Syria.
