Politifact – Your Slip is Showing And Your Political teeth
Politifact proudly displays this statement in their “About” section. PolitiFact is a project of the Tampa Bay Times and its partners to help you find the truth in politics. Underline the word “Truth” it’s the keyword.
Politifact is after Donald Trump like flies on a hog’s back, because they are “left leaners” which equates into Liberal fact checkers or is it “checkers of fact.” Anyway you slice it – Politifact is out to get Trump even if they have to lie.
Here are six issues Politifact says Trump has lied about – but the real question is this; “Was it Trump that lied or the Politifact team in their rather humorous attempt to kick Trump out of the ball park.
Humorous because their little “Facts Ometer” or whatever that ugly little instrument just screwed up 6 out of 6 times. Anyway you shake it they’re not the most respected or reliable team of detectives.
- Trump said, “93 million people out of work.” Politifact said this is false. Here’s the scoop – WASHINGTON (CBSDC/AP) — Despite the unemployment rate plummeting, more than 92 million Americans remain out of the labor force. Trump hit the nail on the head.
- Trump said,” We ‘re the most highly taxed Nation in the World.” Politifact said this is a lie. Actually our 40% corporate tax is out of the water and why businesses have run from our turf. Per Forbes A bad example: The U.S.
The U.S. goes in the opposite direction of Estonia (country with the least taxes) and for three key reasons. First, it has the highest corporate income tax rate in the OECD at 39.1 percent. Second, it is one of the only countries in the OECD that does not have a territorial tax system, which would exempt foreign profits earned by domestic corporations from domestic taxation. Finally, the United States loses points for having a relatively high, progressive individual income tax rate (combined top rate of 46.3 percent) that taxes both dividends and capital gains, albeit at a reduced rate.
As a result, the United States ends up placing 32nd among the 34 industrialized nations meaning it has one of the worst uncompetitive tax code. Another slam dunk for Trump.
- Trump said, “Illegal immigration “wasn’t a subject that was on anybody’s mind until I brought it up at my announcement.” Politifact said false it’s been a hot topic for a long time. Americans all know the real answer and immigration hasn’t been a hot topic. Immigration has been a vice or come used by politicians for years. Donald Trump has made it a priority for 2016 not an “elect me and I promise I’ll do something about illegal immigration.” Trump not only addressed the subject, he brought solutions to the table. Once again Trump was right!
- Trump said, “Some of the things that (Megyn Kelly) said, I didn’t say.” Well, now that is debatable, but we do know Trump may have been right on his observation, because Aisles quickly sent Megyn Kelly off on a two week vacation. Megyn’s plan to remove Trump at the first Presidential debate didn’t work – in fact you could say it back fired for FOX!
When Kelly returned, she immediately had Jorge Ramos on her show, once again another tactic to kick Trump under the bus. Megyn said no one can kick a journalist out of a Press Conference. Fact: Trump did kick Jorge Ramos out of a Press Conference.
Trump said, “Under President Barack Obama, income levels and unemployment numbers “are worse now than just about ever” for African-Americans.” Politifact said this statement was false. Lauren’s response to Obama’s speech December 2014 saying Black America is better off than it was… Lauren responds saying, What planet African Americans are doing “better off” on is unknown. What is known is that President Obama is about to leave office with African Americans in their worst economic situation since Ronald Reagan.

Lauren continues: Unemployment. The average Black unemployment under President Bush was 10 percent. The average under President Obama after six years is 14 percent. Black unemployment, “has always been double” [that of Whites] but it hasn’t always been 14 percent.
The administration was silent when Black unemployment hit 16 percent – a 27-year high – in late 2011. Poverty. The percentage of Blacks in poverty in 2009 was 25 percent; it is now 27 percent.
The issue of poverty is rarely mentioned by the president or any members of his cabinet. Currently, more than 45 million people – 1 in 7 Americans – live below the poverty line. The Black/White Wealth Gap. The wealth gap between Blacks and Whites in America is at a 24-year high. A December study by PEW Research Center revealed the average White household is worth $141,900, and the average Black household is worth $11,000. From 2010 to 2013, the median income for Black households plunged 9 percent. So it’s safe to say once more Donald Trump was correct!
- Trump said, “The five Guantanamo detainees swapped for Bowe Bergdahl “are right now back on the battlefield.” Politifact once again says Trump’s statement false. According to NEW YORK POST

June 2016 the Daily Beast says four of the five will return to the battlefield.
A senior-level Persian Gulf official said the detainees will be able to move freely around the country, will not be treated as prisoners, and that the United States will not be involved in monitoring their activities, according to the Post. Feinstein said, “you can’t help but worry about the terrorists being released.”
Obama ultimately chose to make the deal, despite his intelligence services’ estimate that four of the five Taliban detainees would ultimately resume their struggle against American allies.
So how did the little geniuses on Politifact know that these terrorists aren’t back on the terrorist battlefield? These terrorists were not restricted and could carry on terrorist activities as soon as they landed in Qatar. Qatar has made big bucks from taxpayers (the amount unknown), and our Government has lost track of the five terrorists.
So what good is a venue like Politifact? Its little “facts ometer” is nothing but a propaganda machine programmed to regurgitate information in order to fool Americans.
News Flash Politico: Trump is alive and well, he’s number one in the Polls, isn’t beholding to any lobbyists or big donors. Financing his own campaign and willing to help Americans make their Country great again. You just can’t get any better than that!
