3 Dead at Doctors Without Borders Hospital and Dozens Injured After U.S. Airstrike in Kunduz | 03 Oct 2015 | A U.S. airstrike in the Afghan city of Kunduz may have killed three staffers with Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) and injured dozens more Saturday, officials said. A spokesman for U.S. and coalition troops in Afghanistan, Col. Brian Tribus, confirmed that a U.S. airstrike conducted at around 2:15 a.m. local time “may [?] have caused collateral damage to a nearby health facility.” At least three MSF staff were killed in the bombing and 30 more were unaccounted for, the group, also known as Doctors Without Borders, said a statement.
