“For me, as an African, there’s just something familiar about Trump that makes me feel at home.”
Trevor Noah has an interesting back-up plan for Donald Trump should he fail to win the 2016 election.
During Thursday night’s episode of “The Daily Show,” the South Africa native compared some of Trump’s controversial views with those of various African presidents.
“For me, as an African, there’s just something familiar about Trump that makes me feel at home,” Noah said. He then played two clips of South African President Jacob Zuma saying: “The influx of illegal immigrants, crime and failed business practices… it is also not true that all foreign nationals are involved in criminal activities, there are some that are – but not all of them.”
Noah added that he believes Trump is presidential, he just happens to be running on the wrong continent. In fact, the 31-year-old says the mogul could potentially make history, similar to President Obama’s 2008 election win.
