Fierce fighting in Donetsk, “Aidar” battalion pulled fresh reserves

According to the deputy minister of defense of Donetsk People’s Republic, Eduard Basurin, the Ukrainian military continues to violate the Minsk agreements. The Minsk accords were signed on February 12, after negotiations in the so-called “Normandy format” in the Belarusian capital Minsk, bringing together Russian President Vladimir Putin, French President Francois Hollande, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko. The Minsk accords envisage ceasefire, weaponry withdrawal, prisoner exchange, local election in Donbass, constitutional reform in Ukraine and establishing working sub-groups on security, political, economy and humanitarian components of the Minsk accords.

‘I can tell with absolute assurance that any escalation of the conflict will be decently shot down in flames’, Zaharchenko announced.
However, the head of the DPR does not expect the escalation of the conflict the nearest time.
‘Ukraine understand perfectly well that it cannot defeat us for more than a year, and with the forces that we have now, they cannot do it in any case, our citizens can not worry’, Zaharchenko added.
