What Do You Get When You Cross A Liberal Feminist With A Socialist?
Hillary Clinton this weekend did something totally unsurprising. She played the female genitalia card. This is not new. Hillary is banking on her potential to be the First Female President™ as a huge plus in her favor, both now in the primary and later in the general election.
So we see things like her new ad that is out this week, featuring a little girl “spontaneously” asking Hillary at a town hall meeting if she’ll be paid the same a male president would. We see her time and again suggest that our candidates are deaf ears to the plight of women, that opposition to Planned Parenthood’s dismembered fetus farming business as an attack on women. And of course, we see her saying outright that her foes are sexist. So no, this is not new. What’s new is the target: Bernie Sanders.
Yes, Hillary Clinton took a not so subtle jab at Bernie Sanders, playing off a comment he made in the democrat debate, and suggesting in pretty blatant terms that he is, in fact, a sexist.
But far be it from her usual “I am woman hear me roar” routine, this time Hillary’s argument is, “I’m a woman, I don’t roar.” Or .. something.
“I’ve been told to stop, and I quote, ‘shouting about gun violence.’ First of all, I’m not shouting. It is just when women talk, some people think we’re shouting.”
“I’ve been told to stop shouting about ending gun violence. Well, I haven’t been shouting, but sometimes when a woman speaks out, some people think it’s shouting. But I won’t be silenced.”

Now, let us not be mistaken for offering a defense of Bernie Sanders, who is obviously a sexist among his other many, many faults. But the awesome hilarity of this situation is not something I could in good conscience let slip past without remark. The RedState community deserves this. You’ve earned it.
There is little in this life as amusing as seeing the left eat their own. There was, for example, that time a pride parade kicked out the drag queens because they offended the transgenders. Or that time Patricia Arquette took a bold Oscars stand on equal pay for millionaire actresses and ended up pitting white women against black women and gays. It is moments like these that are the reason the word “popcorn” exists. I mean, besides to identify that annoying chewing sound during movies.
So of course, liberal feminist Hillary turning on commie socialist Bernie Sanders is a pleasure in its own right. Moar please, as the kids say. (And by the way there is more, because Bernie responded.)
But lest all the fun be at Bernie’s expense, let’s just clear something up right now. Hillary does shout. She does. Hillary shouts. Sorry. Are you trying to say a woman can’t shout? Stop oppressing women!
