The Sudanese troops of the Saudi-led coalition have been relocated to Ta’iz from Aden to fight the Yemeni army and popular forces.

“The Sudanese troops have arrived in Ta’iz to help the pro-Hadi militias,” the Arabic-language Yemen al-Youm quoted a field source as saying on Wednesday.

The Sudanese forces arrived in Yemen few days ago to help the Saudi forces in their aggressions against the Yemeni nation.

Earlier this week, the Arabic-language media reported that the Saudi-led forces fighting against the Yemeni government have hired foreign mercenaries, specially Sudanese soldiers, after they were badly defeated in the Southern port of Aden.

“Soldiers of the Sudanese army along with their vehicles were seen moving in several areas across the Southern province of Aden,” the Arabic-language Al-Manar TV quoted local sources as saying.

The sources reiterated that the move comes after heavy losses were inflicted upon the Emirati forces operating in Yemen as part of the Saudi-led coalition.

Meantime, top military officials in Damascus revealed on Tuesday that Over 500 ISIL militants have been transported from Syria to Yemen aboard planes arriving from Turkey to fight against Ansarullah and other popular forces.

Syrian Armed Forces Spokesman Brig. Gen. Ali Maihub informed that more than 500 ISIL militants had been transported from Syria to Yemen aboard 4 planes that had arrived from Turkey on October 26.

According to him, two of the planes belong to Turkish airlines, one is a Qatari aircraft and one is a UEA plane.

“According to the intelligence data, 4 planes arrived from Turkey at the airport of Aden [in Yemen] on October 26. Two of them [planes] belonged to Turkish airlines, one — to Qatar airlines and another aircraft was owned by an UAE airline. More than 500 militants of ISIL terrorist group were on board, they were transported from Syria to save them from Russian airstrikes,” Maihub said.

He further claimed Saudi-led coalition officers met ISIL militants at the airport in Yemen. The Syrian general said that the jihadists were supposed to take part in a ground operation against Houthi rebels.

“[ISIL] militants were met by officers from the Saudi-led coalition, who took them out of the [Yemeni] airport in three groups. The first group was taken to the town of al-Bab in the Mandeb province, the second — to Marib, the third — to Saudi provinces Jazan and Asir,” he said.

“The militants are expected to take part in the ongoing ground operation where ground coalition forces have recently suffered serious losses in clashes with Houthi fighters,” the general said, adding that, based on intelligence data, similar transfers of ISIL militants from Syria would continue.

“According to available information, operations aimed to transport ISIL terrorists from Syria will continue in a short time,” he added.

Hundreds of terrorists from ISIL and the al-Nusra Front have fled the battlefields in Syria after a rising wave of countrywide joint military offensives by the Syrian army and the Lebanese Hezbollah forces following intensive Russian airstrikes.

Also, sources in Latin America disclosed that at least 800 Colombian nationals could soon be fighting alongside the Saudi-led coalition against Yemenis, with dozens likely already in the war-torn Middle Eastern country.

Over 800 Colombian mercenaries could take up front-line positions in Yemen under the Saudi command, Colombian newspaper El Tiempo said in a report.

The troops are expected to be involved in an ongoing offensive against the revolutionary forces, which currently hold Yemen’s capital, Sana’a.

Hundreds of Colombian nationals are fighting alongside the Saudi-led forces in Yemen, the report further added.

The troops include former Colombian soldiers fighting under contract with Saudi Arabia.

The first group of just under 100 Colombian troops arrived in Yemen earlier this month. The troops were set to arrive in the Southern port city of Aden.

In recent days unconfirmed reports have surfaced the number of Colombians in Yemen may have already reached that number (800).

The report said that in addition to the hefty amount of money paid by the Emir of the United Arab Emirates, the Saudis’ main and powerful ally, the Colombian forces will earn at least $1000 of weekly salary to combat alongside the Saudi-led coalition forces against the Yemeni army and popular forces.

Saudi Arabia has been striking Yemen for 217 days now to restore power to fugitive president Mansour Hadi, a close ally of Riyadh. The Saudi-led aggression has so far killed at least 6,901 Yemenis, including hundreds of women and children.

Hadi stepped down in January and refused to reconsider the decision despite calls by Ansarullah revolutionaries of the Houthi movement.

Despite Riyadh’s claims that it is bombing the positions of the Ansarullah fighters, Saudi warplanes are flattening residential areas and civilian infrastructures.

“Tens of foreign forces taking part in the Saudi-led aggression against Yemen were killed in fierce clashes in Ma’rib,” local sources said.

The sources also said that tens of Saudi soldiers were also wounded and captured in the Yemeni forces’ operations on Thursday.

Saudi Arabia has recently hired thousands of foreign troops from ISIL and al-Nusra Front terrorists to Sudanese mercenaries and Colombian soldiers to fight popular forces in Yemen.
