(Before It's News)

Protest

In the post that follows, you’ll see that today is the day that a far left protest group called National Activism Group has designated as the day for a “rally” called the Stop Mass Incarceration Rally. In the first video, compliments of Next News Network, the anchors give a brief rundown of what the “protests” are about, and who is organizing them. Then, below is a timeline of events with video for today thus far. As it says in the video, ANNA GIARITELLI writing for the Washington Examiner reports: Chicago protesters will attempt to overrun and shut down the city’s affluent Michigan Avenue shopping district on Black Friday, with similar protests to begin around the country in other major cities.

To get the protest started, large crowds began assembling not long ago in Chicago’s shopping district, with the Rev. Jesse Jackson in the middle of a crowd that’s shouting, “What do we want? Justice. When do we want it? Now!” In the following video you can see the protest forming in it’s earliest stages…

You’ll have to pardon me if my tone isn’t overly sympathetic to the protests, and the reason for that is because at the prior rallies organized by America’s favorite “Reverends,” the “protests” turned into mass chaos with riots, looting, and destruction, and thus far no real consequences to those involved. Furthermore, it’s hardly past noon, and the real motive of the protest has already presented itself with the words being chanted by the “Reverend” himself…

“What do we want? Justice. When do we want it? Now!”

Forgive me if I fail to see the connection between innocent business owners being held hostage in what are already difficult economic times, for a crime they did not commit. Those protesting and disrupting businesses have “targeted” those businesses in much the same way they are protesting that the “targeting” needs to end, and then they wonder why no one takes them seriously. They are participating in the exact same behavior they purport to be protesting against, not to mention, in addition to disrupting business (for now, who knows what happens as night falls), why are these people chanting that they want justice now? We have a criminal code of justice in this country. If no one else will, I’ll go ahead and call this mob what it is: A Lynch mob. They don’t want justice, any more than any of the other lynch mobs orchestrated by Jessie Jackson or the other jackass Al Sharpton wanted justice. They want a lynching. Explain to me what the following video has to do with achieving their goals?

Sorry for saying so, but the actions in that video look more like terrorism to me, than protesting. If violence, and fires, and destruction, and looting break out anywhere, then that is most certainly terrorism. How can terrorists expect to achieve anything meaningful with tactics like this? I’m sorry, but IF, and I say IF, these “protests” get violent or cause destruction, then I’m going to call the imbeciles running these “Black Lives Matter”events what they need to be called. Thus far, their previous actions have been acts of DOMESTIC TERRORISM, no matter what Obama and his lawless regime say. Yeah, that’s right. I said it. Deal with it.

TERRORIST DEFINED: “A Person Who Uses Terror In the Pursuit of a Political Aim”

Before anyone dares spout off something about “First Amendment Rights,” do the world a favor, and put a sock in your mouth. Save the oxygen for those who still have working brains. Please.

A RIGHT TO PROTEST YOU SAY?

HAVE THOSE “PROTESTING” EVER READ THE FIRST AMENDMENT? EVER?

The First Amendment (Amendment I) to the United States Constitution prohibits the making of any law respecting an establishment of religion, impeding the free exercise of religion, abridging the freedom of speech, infringing on the freedom of the press, interfering with the right to peaceably assemble or prohibiting the petitioning for a governmental redress of grievances. It was adopted on December 15, 1791, as one of the ten amendments that constitute the Bill of Rights.

READ WHAT THE LINE SAYS ABOUT THE RIGHT TO ASSEMBLE?

READ IT OUT LOUD WITH ME: “RIGHT TO PEACEFULLY ASSEMBLE”

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but those are the FACTS! Stampeding through businesses, intimidating customers, preventing business transactions from happening by causing such a disruption are NOT peaceful. Furthermore, on Tuesday, a judged charged officer Jason Van Dyke for the shooting of 17-year-old Laquan McDonald, so the “justice” being cried out for, is already in the works. They have to let the process play out.

If these demonstrators want vigilante justice, they should stop being cowards and come out and say that. No sense hiding behind protests gone wild chanting bumper sticker slogans if all they want is blood. At least have the courage to stand by your convictions, and maybe then an HONEST dialog can begin. I caution anyone against vigilante justice, because he who lives in a glass house, should be careful about throwing stones, unless they are ready for the same to be done in return. At that point, we no longer live in a country. It would be a banana republic where anything goes, and then everyone loses. One report says, Mark Carter, one of two dozen demonstrators assembled outside Mayor Rahm Emanuel’s City Hall office Wednesday, called people to “rise up” and protest at the Magnificent Mile the day after Thanksgiving on behalf of a black teenager who was killed by a white police officer in 2014. “Rise up?” “Rise up?” The perp is in custody so what exactly are you “rising up” against Mr. Carter?” How does Mr. Carter expect to stop alleged targeting of blacks by police by targeting people himself in affluent areas?

MR. CARTER? MR. CARTER?

Anyway, the following is a timeline of today’s events until just a white ago when the festivities got rolling. If you find that you want front row seats to the protests, without the violence or the danger, then might I suggest a new feature by Twitter called Twitter‘s Periscope. It’s a live streaming app promised to bring us closer to the news than ever before, and that’s just what it continues to do. Following the release of the graphic video of a Chicago police officer gunning down black teenager Laquan Macdonald, many protesters have taken to the streets with smartphones in hand.

If you’re interested in an unfiltered feed of what is happening on the streets of Chicago tonight, you can tune in to several Periscope streams and watch the events unfold live.

As with all live events—and especially ones being broadcast via Periscope—the streams tend to stop and start randomly, whenever the broadcaster has something interesting to document. However, even if you don’t catch the events live, you can still watch the recent broadcasts via a replay feature built into the Web app.

TODAY’S TIMELINE

The latest on the aftermath of the shooting of a black teenager by a white Chicago police officer (all times local):

12:30 a.m.

Protests over the videotaped fatal shooting of a black teenager by a white Chicago police officer are set to move to the heart of the city’s famed retail district on the busiest shopping day of the year.

A protest march down part of Michigan Avenue called the Magnificent Mile is planned for Friday at 11 a.m. It is being organized by the Rev. Jesse Jackson and other local activists.

The march will be the latest demonstration in the city since Tuesday, when officials released dashcam video that shows 17-year-old Laquan McDonald being shot 16 times and prosecutors charged Officer Jason Van Dyke with first-degree murder.

The other demonstrations have been largely peaceful. On Thursday afternoon, police said they had made a total of just nine arrests.

7:55 a.m.

The Chicago Teachers Union is encouraging its members to join a march in Chicago’s shopping district to protest the fatal shooting of a black teenager by a white police officer.

CTU President Karen Lewis issued a statement urging members to express their “outrage and dignity” by participating in Friday’s march on Michigan Avenue on a stretch called the Magnificent Mile.

The 11 a.m. demonstration will be the latest in the city since Tuesday, when officials released dashcam video that shows 17-year-old Laquan McDonald being shot 16 times and prosecutors charged Officer Jason Van Dyke with first-degree murder.

Chicago police say they are prepared to support a peaceful march and will be on hand to address traffic and public safety.

9:50 a.m.

An association representing hundreds of high-end retailers, hotels and restaurants in Chicago’s Magnificent Mile district says it’s confident authorities will maintain order for thousands of Black Friday shoppers as groups protest a 2014 police shooting.

The release of a video showing the fatal shooting of 17-year-old Laquan McDonald has set off days of largely peaceful protests. Taking Friday’s demonstrations to the city’s main shopping area ensures high visibility.

John Curran is vice president of the Magnificent Mile Association, which represents 780 businesses on North Michigan Avenue.

He says members always have robust public safety plans in place because of the area’s high profile, its huge crowds and the urban setting.

And protests there are nothing new.

Some 20 million people visit each year. North Michigan Avenue is one of the largest shopping attractions in the Midwest and hosts many flagship stores, hotels and luxury brands.

11 a.m.

Among them is 73-year-old Frank Chapman of Chicago, who says a video released Tuesday showing the fatal shooting of 17-year-old Laquan McDonald by police officer Jason Van Dyke confirms what activists have said for years about Chicago police brutality.

He says his organization, the Chicago Alliance Against Racism and Political Oppression, is pushing for an elected, civilian police accountability council.

THERE ARE 800 FEMA CAMPS – THAT IS ONE FOR EVERY FOUR COUNTIES – THINK ABOUT THAT! MOST COUNTIES WILL PARTICIPATE IN SENDING YOU SO THEY CAN TAKE WHAT YOU HAVE.

IF YOU DON’T BELIEVE YOUR COUNTY’S LEADERS ARE THAT CORRUPT YOU ARE DELUSIONAL. Think your family is safe – think again – they will take your money, home, children & freedom. These BASTARDS spit on everything millions of American Patriots have fought & died for.

IT HAS ALREADY STARTED & I CAN PROVE IT – WILL YOU HELP EXPOSE THIS?

  • Hmm at least some of them got arrested I guess.

  • The trouble with money is sub-humans will do anything for it. Think internet trolls, shills, crisis actors etc.

  • It’s only going to give the authorities more control. The rioters are playing right into their grubby hands.
