Congress Sells* the Moon, Planets & Asteroids to Corporations. – YouTube

This past week the U.S. House of Representatives – Congress & the Senate passed legislation known as the SPACE Act of 2015 aka The U.S. Commercial Space Launch Competitiveness Act & it looks like Corporations have a big chance to lay claim to Trillion Dollar Asteroids the best resources the Solar System has to offer and whatever magic space cowboy relics that these limited liability companies can get their hands on.

Outer Space is Big Business and it appears these companies got to write their own bill via proxy of their lobbyists.

Look for Human Space Exploration to take another step backwards (if that’s even possible) as the Commercial Space crews continue to struggle.

…but the weirdest part of this story is how corporations are salivating over the prospect of Moon Water.

  • Oh really!! So someone out there just decided that they owned these things and sold them? Well, I’ve decided that I own at least 60% of those asteroids, and if someone else is selling my property, I am owed some money. How bout you guys? Any of your asteroids get sold right out from under you? Who do these guys think they are?
