(Before It's News)

Hillary Clinton is running as an “outside” by virtue of wanting to be the first female president. It’s a play that is as predictable as it is failing miserably. Case in point, in the world of sports, there are few female figures as imposing as Ronda Rousey, who has destroyed pretty much anyone and anything that has stood in her path. Alas her next victim appears to be Hillary Clinton’s campaign.

Ronda Rousey, champion UFC fighter and noted badass, has officially shared her pick for the next president of the United States in an interview with Maxim.

“I’m voting for Bernie Sanders, because he doesn’t take any corporate money,” Rousey said. “I don’t think politicians should be allowed to take money for their campaigns from outside interests.”

Sure, I’m disappointed in Rousey (oh God please don’t tell her I said that or where I live), given that she is a very inspiring figure for young women to look up to. She is the definition of a strong woman who doesn’t need someone else to prove her worth. I would hope my daughter has Rousey’s drive and independence when she grows up.

Rousey would be a huge gain for Hillary. She is a household name, known for her toughness, and she is a great symbol for women. Hillary needs that right now. She is floundering across the board, and that includes with women voters. Rousey’s statement about taking corporate money is a direct indictment of just how falsely Hillary portrays herself – she isn’t going to be the new face of the Far Left insurgency, even though she keeps pulling to the Left to try and negate Sanders’ influence.

Hillary Clinton would be another Barack Obama – who, by the way, also missed out on Rousey’s support (she voted third party in 2012) – because she would be the same crony capitalist devotee to the big money in Washington D.C., while flirting with the various Leftist causes that would make up the coalition she needs to win. A coalition, I might add, that will not be anywhere near the size and scope of Obama’s.
