Former NATO Supreme Commander, General Wesley Clark, did not bite his tongue during an interview on CNN. According to Clark, it wasn’t NATO who attacked the Russian plane, even though it was Turkey, a NATO member, who shot it down. As per Clark’s explanation, the attack on a Russian SU-24 Jet is all on Turkey’s rap sheet. The former US General also stated that, because ISIS is a Sunni terror organization, it is consequently doing the bidding of the Shia groups which it claims to represent and that those groups include the Turkish and Saudi Arabian governments. “That means it’s serving the interests of Turkey and Saudi Arabia even as it poses a threat to them because neither Turkey or Saudi Arabia want an Iran-Iraq-Syria-Lebanon bridge that isolates Turkey and cuts Saudi Arabia off,” explained Clark. Wesley Clark also talked about the success of ISIS when selling the oil stolen from Syrian oil fields. “Someone’s buying that oil that ISIS is selling, it’s going through somewhere, it looks to me like it’s probably going through Turkey,” he said. Clark’s interview can be seen below.
