A new horizon nears…
Greetings world, we are anonymous.
We are here to alert the public that we are not dead, and that we have been watching many events unfold during this year, some inspirational, others, tragic. 2016 is right around the corner, and anonymous has grown in momentum, each year however, we say the same thing: “Anonymous is getting bigger”, and frankly, it has become a cliche to the public eye. To see anonymous gain momentum, and then that momentum vanishing each year. Arguably, 2015 was anonymous’ worst years in recent time. So, let us reboot the system. In other words, our objective for 2016, our mission, will be to bring what anonymous was, and what it has always been: A citizen’s tool to spread their message across the world.
We understand both sides of the statement. For instance, we are fully aware of agencies trying to use anonymous as a propaganda tool to discredit and dismantle the collective, while others use anonymous as a banner to earn fame and profit. Its good side however, lets you, the citizen, deliver your message to the masses. To clarify: Anonymous is not a vigilante group, or even a group, it’s a collective, yet even then, it’s not that. What it is and what it has always been, and will be, is an idea; an idea up for grabs by good, and bad people. So we must stay vigilant as to avoid any sketchy scenarios, and to expose the culprits, and their false agenda.
To the citizenry: We hear your cries, your opinions and your problems, yet, we can only do so much. But understand, that we are listening.
In 2016, anonymous will champion three tenets:
- Defending the right to anonymity
- Opposing censorship
- Poviding Lulz in liberal doses.
It’s time to bring the public a darker, more controversial ideal, that is responsive and articulate to many of societies conflicts and intrigues.
Anonymous is an idea that can never be broken, even, by traitors.
We are anonymous.
We are legion.
We do not forgive.
We do not forget.
