Democrat Congressmen Pray At Terrorist Infested Mosque After #SanBernardinoShooting
This is sort of stunning in its tone deafness but these are Democrats, so peeing on commonsense and propriety is what they do best.
Three Democrat members of Congress Rep. Keith Ellison (D-MN) 11% (D-al Qaeda), Don Beyer (D-VA), and Joe Crowley (D-NY) showed up at the Dar Al-Hijrah Islamic Center in Northern Virginia to pray away the hate in the aftermath of the shootings in Paris and San Bernardino. And not just any mosque but one that has documented ties to Islamic terrorism.
“Intolerance and hatred have no place in American society,” Beyer said this week. “We are a diverse nation of immigrants whose shared cultural heritage is one of openness and inclusion. We must celebrate this diverse thread of our cultural cloth, not tear it apart.”
The three lawmakers told their colleagues this week that Americans must resist claims that “all Muslims are terrorists” in the wake of terrorist incidents around the world that have been tied to radical Islamic extremism.
A representative of the mosque said many Muslims in the area have felt “under siege” over the last few weeks.
“Women taking their children to school have been heckled by passersby, and we experienced two incidences of hate violence,” said Imam Johari Abdul-Malik. “It is with the support of good neighbors like Congressmen Beyer, Ellison, and Crowley that we carry on knowing that our future will be brighter.”
The lawmakers said the Dar Al-Hijrah center received a bomb threat, and that Molotov cocktails were thrown in the parking lot.
I suppose heckling is roughly the equivalent of 130 dead and 368 wounded in Paris and the 14 dead and 21 wounded in San Bernardino. And, if investigated, we can bet with great confidence that the vandalism incidents were perpetrated by members of the mosque to create sympathy.
Let’s be clear. Muslims in the US are in no danger. The average Muslim in the US is much more safe from violence and from harassment by the government than they are in any place in the Muslim world. For nearly 15 years, the West has allowed itself to be used as a pinata by Muslims and there has been no backlash whatsoever.
The fact that these three clowns would traipse off toe this particularly rich in irony. Dar Al-Hijrah Islamic Center is where some of the 9-11 hijackers “worshipped”. It is where the Fort Hood shooter, Nidal Hassan, “worshipped” before committing workplace violence. The man convicted of plotting to assassinate President George W. Bush “worshipped” there. A former imam at that mosque, Anwar al-Awlaki, was a terrorist and eventually killed in a drone strike in 2011. The current imam, Shaker Elsayed, endorsed the 1990 murder of Meir Kahane and has encouraged American Muslims to wage holy war on the United States.
