Obama Defying Congress, Making it Easier for Iranians to Enter US
Fellow Conservative,
Here at Conservative Daily, we believe that it was shameful for the GOP surrender to the Left like they just did with the budget. They gave Obama practically everything he wanted.
But there were some provisions added that were palatable. For example, the 2016 OMNIBUS bill includes a provision that makes it a little harder for Iranian citizens to come to the United States.
Republicans promised to make it harder for potential terrorists to come here and they took a step in the right direction. They didn’t go far enough, but it is a step.
Now that Obama signed the bill, the increase in visa requirements for Iranians is officially the law of the land.
We knew that the vast majority of Congress didn’t read the bill before voting on it, but now we have confirmation that the President didn’t bother reading it either. The White House just announced that they would not be following the law as written and that they will allow Iranians easier entry into the United States.
Why? Because this legislation goes against the Iran nuclear deal!
Don't let Obama get away with this! Stop him from opening the doors for Iranian terrorists!
Barack Obama is using his executive agreement with Iran as an excuse to violate yet another law!
The President values the Iranians’ feelings more than he values keeping Americans safe from international terrorism.
First of all, the Iran deal isn’t a treaty. It is an executive agreement that Congress stupidly allowed to remain in place. Secondly, Iran hasn’t even ratified the treaty yet so it isn’t in effect.
Obama isn’t forced to disobey the law. He is now choosing to. He is choosing to completely disobey and disregard the budget bill he signed, all because of his radical Iranian agenda.
I’d say this is unbelievable, but it is actually completely believable. This is par-for-the-course. He picks and chooses which laws he agrees with and enforces them accordingly.
Never in the history of the Republic have we had such a lawless President. Never have we had a President so willing to defy Congress and ignore the law to pursue his own agenda.
The new law doesn’t stop Iranians from coming here. It just stipulates that they need to apply at a US embassy and receive a visa before coming here. That’s it.
But Obama is going to throw out the law and allow these Iranians to come here without even notifying us ahead of time.
This President is putting the country at risk. Period. We must stop him!
