While awaiting court hearings/trial, Steven Crain was unlawfully incarcerated in Clark County Detention Center from September 4, 2014 – July 1, 2015, and then placed on house arrest/ankle monitor from July 1, 2015 until November 6, 2015.
On the morning of November 6, 2015, which was supposed to be the start of the trial, the Clark County District Attorney’s told Clark County District Court Chief Judge David Barker that they (D. A.) is dismissing the charges against Steven Crain, since the D. A. realized they didn’t have a case against Steven Crain. Chief Judge Barker dismissed the case. Additionally, because of the unlawful incarceration, it was heart-breaking for Steven to be away from his daughter and their 3 Chihuahuas, for Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, their birthdays, and every other day.
