The Pentagon, ISIS & The Art of War

Hasn’t anyone at the Pentagon ever read The Art of War with regards to the importance of disrupting an enemy’s alliances?
There is, at present, a critical alliance between ISIS; the Western mainstream, ‘alternative’, and Internet media; and even the ‘moderate’ Jewish, Christian and Muslim religious officials with regards to the censorship and suppression of the Truth about the Revelations in the Quran (the Torah, the Prophets and the Gospels); without which, the success of ISIS, ISIL, Daesh, or the Islamic State simply would NOT be possible.
Hasn’t it EVER entered into the minds of those at the Pentagon that this fundamental alliance should be DISRUPTED?
After all, isn’t that one of the things that they are PAID to contemplate?
