Speaking by telephone with TODAY’s Savannah Guthrie, Donald Trump denied calling Bill Clinton a racist, saying that he merely passed on what the Obama campaign said about him in 2008: “I don’t believe he is a racist.” He does say that Clinton was responsible for “a lot of abuse of women,” citing the Monica Lewinsky scandal.

TRUMP GOES ON TO SAY BILL IS “FAIR GAME” IF HILLARY PLAYS THE WOMAN CARD.

TAKE A LISTEN… SOUNDS LIKE THIS IS GETTING FUN,,,

Conservative Tribune Reports:

The mainstream media attempts to sneak its biased agenda into its “news” on a daily basis — especially when it has to do with Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

A classic example of how liberals try to present the news unfairly took place Tuesday on NBC’s “Today” show when host Savannah Guthrie was interviewing GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump about Clinton’s campaign.

The topic included Clinton’s focus on women’s issues and how that might be perceived should former President Bill Clinton decide to campaign for his wife.

Trump said the former president was responsible for “a lot of abuse of women,” including Monica Lewinsky, and the issue of that abuse would be “fair game” should Hillary Clinton choose to “play the woman’s card.”

Guthrie was responding to Trump when she called Clinton’s affair with Lewinski an “alleged” one, but The Donald stopped her in her tracks.

“It was not alleged. Was that alleged? I don’t think that was alleged,” he said.

Guthrie then agreed with Trump that Bill Clinton did admit to the affair, after which Trump simply reiterated, “You don’t have to use the word ‘alleged.’”

This isn’t the first time Trump has derailed a reporter for trying to sneak some bias into a story.

Last month, Trump blasted a reporter for calling the San Bernardino terrorist couple that left 14 dead people at a Christmas party “regular people.” He set her straight quickly.

Trump’s position in the public eye for decades has taught him how to handle the media, and you can bet they don’t like it one bit.

His exchange with Guthrie demonstrated one reason he has managed to stay popular in the polls. His supporters like to see him put not only reporters in their place but anyone else who tries to get away with espousing ridiculous liberal ideas — no matter how sneaky they might try to be about it.
