Under Barack Obama: Race Relations In America Hit 20 Year Low

In the video below, Graham Ledger makes it pretty clear that it’s not just race relations that have deteriorated under President Obama, but relations among all Americans of all backgrounds. As the video points out, Obama has frequently turned to any method available to divide the American people and pit us against one another. He’s used Class Warfare, Income Inequality (whatever that is), divided us by gender, by culture, by sexual orientation, and his personal favorite, taking any opportunity made available to manufacture or enflame racial tensions.

A few years back, I remember coming across an article on DC Clothesline titled, Rev. Manning: Obama has produced more racism in America than 200 years of slavery, and thinking to myself, “Wow, that is a powerful title to an article, especially from a Reverend!!!” I have no way of knowing if the reverend’s statement is true or not, because that’s his opinion, however I would say that in my opinion, at the very least, I think it’s safe to say that peoples’ patience for “racial issues” has certainly significantly decreased under the Obama dictatorship, particularly the the during the Holder era. It was my experience, by a ridiculously overwhelming margin, that before Obama, a racial divide of such a “systemic” level like the one Obama and Holder have incessantly whined about just did not exist prior to their manufacturing of one.

Look, the world isn’t perfect. There will always be some racial issues with some people, and that’s sad, but neither myself nor any of my friends of any racial, ethnic, or religious backgrounds EVER had any issues on the systemic level like Obama lectures about non-stop. Mind you, I’ve lived just outside of New York City, just outside of Washington D.C., and several other areas I would hardly consider “sheltered” either. I’m also speaking very generally here, because I’m sure it was no one’s top concern to make sure I was fully informed on every aspect of their lives, but the frequency with which the Obama administration insist on injecting race into everything since Obama took office has been sickening, and for the most part it’s either been 1) highly disingenuous; or 2) delusional.

Fast forward a few years since that article, and I can say that in my own life, with the people I come in contact with, and the people I talk to of all backgrounds, there is no question people are SICK of talking about race. How can they not be? For SEVEN years we have heard a non-stop broken record day in, day out, about how THIS group has more than THAT group, or THAT group should be able to do what THIS group is doing, and how it’s all about EQUAL RESULTS NOW, or it should be, rather than about EQUAL OPPORTUNITY. Being someone who works my ASS off, I am SICK of hearing about what I owe as “MY SHARE.” Furthermore, ever since Obama took office, there is an ongoing narrative the media HARPS ON that if people don’t substantively agree on something, and their races are not the same, then it MUST BE a racial issue. I’ll speak for me. I am OVER it. I am so sick of hearing about race… yet every time I turn on my TV, Obama or one of his robots is carrying on about it. IT GETS OLD!

I’m sure not many people can say over the course of their lives they’ve had periods of time where they were blessed enough to make a hefty six figure income, and other periods where things got so destitute they were homeless for an extended period of time, and lived in a shelter for almost six months. Thankfully that was a distant past, but I remember it like yesterday. Everyone in the shelter was like family. It didn’t matter who you were, where you came from, or what your skin color was. We all looked after each other, and we did our best to lift one another up when the opportunity arose. No one came into the shelter on a winning streak, so It was a tough times for anyone there.

In the shelter, no one cared about skin color, but then again there wasn’t a non-stop bombardment on TV and radio from the President of the United States trying to rip open old wounds. Today, all you hear is how one group is different than some other group, and without exception it seems like every group is hyphenated. Worse, the hyphenated part is constantly STRESSED TO THE MAX. What ever happened to us all being American? Why the need for all the hyphens? In that kind of environment, things like jealousy, envy, or resentment can set in quick. It’s human nature. The President knows that, and he plays off it. It’s despicable.

I don’t read minds, so I cannot say for sure if people are any more or less “RACIST” than they were when Obama took office, but I think many folks have a lot less patience for racial issues in general. These days, with cell phones, and cameras, the PC police are everywhere, and everyone is looking to cash in and get ahead at someone else’s expense. Race is a very easy way to do that thanks to the ultra liberal media who will run with anything, legitimate or not. Until those responsible for the airwaves, beginning with the President, clean up their rhetoric, IF there are any racial rifts, they will continue to get worse.

President Obama promised a lot of things.

He was going to lead the most transparent administration in history. He was going to lower the rise of the oceans and deliver the country hope and change that they desperately needed. He was going to unite the country and move society forward as the first African-American president.

Almost eight years later, he hasn’t done any of that.

Everywhere you look, things have gotten worse under this president and race relations might be one of the areas where he has failed the most.

A recent survey put that failure in perspective.

Perception of U.S. race relations have reached a 20 year low after several high-profile deaths of black Americans at the hands of police officers, according to data from a new Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll.

Only 34% of Americans said race relations in the country are fairly good or very good, the lowest since October 1995, shortly after the O.J. Simpson trial concluded in an acquittal for the former football star.

The inauguration of Barack Obama as the country’s first black president saw Americans’ view of race relations reach a high of 77% in January 2009. However, the Wall Street Journal notes, there has been a precipitous decline in Americans’ perceptions of race relations since July 2013.

President Obama has had significant opportunities to mend race relations.

The events in Ferguson, Staten Island, Florida, and Baltimore could have been areas where President Obama united the country but as we all know, he chose to divide us.

He completely missed the mark in all of these cases.

In the infancy of his presidency, he jumped all over the racially charged Henry Louis Gates case and accused the cops of acting “stupidly” before he had any idea what was going on. He didn’t look back.

He politicized Ferguson before knowing the facts and was ultimately wrong. He took very strong positions on almost every national story involving race rather than hold his judgment until we knew with certainty what happened.

The American people are tired of that kind of thing. They are tired of the Democrats using race to pit people against each other and that was clear well before this survey.

Luckily, this divider-in-chief is on his way out.

Hopefully he will be replaced by someone that doesn’t look at every situation through a racial lens.
