(Before It's News)

Remember how Donald Trump had this plan to shut down parts of the internet to fight ISIS? Really? Just shut it down? You can’t do that, can you? Maybe he can.  A Brazilian court yesterday shut down WhatsApp in Brazil.  WhatsApp is a messaging and voice application that has roughly 45 million people in that country using it.  Well, CNET  says they were using it until a judge ordered the app shut down because the company had not complied with a couple of court orders in a criminal case.  The shutdown was suppose to last 48 hours. However, just a few hours after that ruling  another court ordered the app back up and running.  Apparently the second court found the initial ruling unreasonable.  Still, we could see more of this stuff in the future. Bits of the internet going dark.

Will there be any jobs left at all?  Over at The Politico we’re told former Fed Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan is pushing for more H-1B visa workers.  The H-1Bs are the high skilled or special skilled foreign workers. He told a group at a foreign relations event that it would grow the economy.  These are high paying jobs and Greenspan is adamant the country needs more of these workers.  But flip over to The Hill  and we find a massive funding bill is before Congress and a part of it  could more than triple the number of H-2B visas .  H-2Bs are for the “foreign workers seeking jobs at hotels, theme parks, ski resorts, golf courses, landscaping businesses, restaurants and bars”.  These jobs are on the lower pay end. Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) 80% (R-AL) says the number of H-2Bs could grow to 250,000. C’mon, our high end jobs AND our lower skilled jobs!?  What are these people saying? America needs foreign workers to do everything?

Now this is what the world really needs. And just in time for Star Wars. It’s Runpee! The site claims that this app will give you a list of  places in movies where you will have time to run to the bathroom and pee and not miss anything important.  Hey, we need one of these things for the debates. So we can run out during the snoozy times, but come back in just before a good  slapfest gets underway.

Former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee is not happy with Tony Perkins and the Family Research Council, says Tim Alberta at The Corner. Seems Huckabee really wanted the group’s endorsement. In fact he was kind of expecting it. He’s had the backing of Perkins as well as other conservative leaders in the past and really was counting on it this time. Alberta notes it was in part because of this backing that Huckabee gave up his gig at Fox so he could run his presidential campaign. Huckabee says it’s “disappointing”.

Whether Donald Trump gets the blessing of Jeb Bush is still iffy, as you can see from yesterday’s HotAir.  But, it may not matter since it appears Donald may have landed The Big Get!  The much sought after Vladimir Putin endorsement. Woohoo!

If several people do it, it takes the burden off one.
