BREAKING: The Supreme Court will decide on Obama’s Executive Amnesty

(Before It's News)

The Supreme Court will hear the case on the controversial Obama program, the Deferred Action for Parents of Americans and Lawful Permanent Residents (or DAPA), in April and issue a ruling in June before it adjourns. This is the first time the program, which affects millions of people, will be heard by the highest court.

The program itself has led to a virtual standstill on deportations, which the federal government has blamed on “limited resources.” The program is an executive action, resulting from deadlock in Congress over how to deal with the issue of illegal immigration. The lack of deportations and the issue of illegal immigration overall has led to a lot of the anger that has made the Trump campaign possible.

In case in question, United States v. Texas, the Obama administration is arguing that the states have no standing because it is up to the federal government to set immigration policy.
