The upcoming year promises to be an exciting one for us at RedState, if nothing else. We are thrilled to be heading into the new year with a team that is dedicated to covering the upcoming Presidential election in ways that RedState has never covered it before. We will of course cover the primaries from wall-to-wall in writing, but we hope to also incorporate much more live coverage, integrating real-time audio and video live from the campaign trail. We also will focus on covering real time breaking news from a conservative perspective in ways that we truly hope that you’ll enjoy.
And of course, we will still feature the longer-form essays and analysis that you’ve come to expect from RedState as well. And through it all, we’ll keep our eye on the ball: getting a conservative in the White House, and as many conservatives in Congress as possible. Nothing has changed in our basic mission, which is to fight the left while we hold the right accountable.
Personally, I’m thrilled and excited to begin the year at the helm of this great website, and I know that with the help of the other contributors and you – our readers, commenters, and diarists – our most exciting days are ahead of us, not behind us.
We hope that you’ll make RedState a regular landing page in the upcoming year, and be sure to like us on Facebook to get exclusive video and audio that we’ll be bringing you throughout 2016.
Thank you for joining us on this journey.
Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
And never brought to mind?
Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
And auld lang syne!
For auld lang syne, my dear,
For auld lang syne.
We’ll take a cup o’ kindness yet,
For auld lang syne.
