The Final Debate Before Iowa: Trump v. Trump
A little bit of levity for your Sunday morning. If you’re bummed out that Donald Trump skipped the last debate before Iowa, don’t worry: Stephen Colbert decided to moderate a debate involving Trump. Trump’s opponent? Donald Trump. This is hilarious and very well done.
Of course, Colbert kept it to subjects that are light and humorous, but he very easily could have done this with substantive issues as well – abortion “I am very pro choice” vs. “everyone knows I am very pro-life,” immigration “I don’t favor a wall” vs “we are going to build a wall on the whole border,” and so on.
That said, you get the picture. If you want to vote for Mitt Romney, only without the admirably clean personal and professional life, then Donald Trump is your man.
