(N.Morgan) These cynical and satirical cartoons and illustrations will have you pondering what is now the accepted cultural ‘norms’… Our world has taken a twisted and corrupt turn and these works of art depict what has now become our modern day society.
Using the art medium to raise awareness about issues that demand acknowledgement and remedy is nothing new. In the past, for example, well-known British artist John Holcroft has used his unique style of illustration to depict the insanities of modern-day society.
This time, two Romanian cartoonists, have put their imagination to work to depict a satirical view of our modern world.

Horia Crisan presented the following photos with Bored Panda, with the following sentiment:
“These cartoons represent our views on relevant topics, such as war or politics, and people sins, like immorality and shallowness.
Even though our work has been acclaimed by the art community and won many prizes, our main goal is to bring attention to touchy subjects.”

Jeez. You must have quite a reality going on there if you think a pregnant centaur is somehow mirroring it.
Yeah, I lost interest when I hit the female double-pregnant centaur. I mean, when you discount the whole thing simultaneously with trying to figure out exactly how she got ‘double-pregnant’ (by just a ‘structural inquiry’, alone), you just have to put the bowl-of-weed down and say, ‘yep, I’m good for now…where’s the Cheetos?’.
