Barriers Deployed After Military Spouse Attempts to Enter Fort Hood Gates, Refuses Vehicle Search | 16 Feb 2016 | (Killeen, Tx) Officials are still investigating after barriers were deployed at the gates on post this morning. Fort Hood officials said that at approximately 5:53 a.m., a military dependent spouse was attempting to enter the Clear Creek Gate, refused a search request of their vehicle, and departed the area. The dependent then attempted to enter the post through different gates and was refused access. During a final attempt, the individual tried to drive through the Clear Creek Gate without proper authorization, causing the grab barriers to be deployed.
