Gov. Nikki Haley endorses Sen. Marco Rubio for president | 17 Feb 2016 | South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley endorsed Marco Rubio for president Wednesday night at an outdoor rally in Chapin, S.C., just three days ahead of Saturday's Republican primary. Haley, a popular two-term governor and possible vice presidential candidate, arrived at the rally with Rubio on his campaign bus and explained why she decided to back the Florida senator. Rubio also has been endorsed by two other members of the congressional delegation in South Carolina: Rep. Trey Gowdy, R-Spartanburg, and Sen. Tim Scott.
