OPEN THREAD: Town Halls Tonight on CNN and MSNBC

(Before It's News)

CNN is holding the first of two town halls tonight. Ben Carson, Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio will be on stage. Another is planned for tomorrow and will feature Jeb Bush, John Kasich and Donald Trump  Both are scheduled to start at 8 p.m. ET. and Anderson Cooper will moderate both events.

This is enlightening:

“Unlike in the debates, the White House contenders will each take the stage separately and field questions from audience members…”

Because they won’t be on the stage together we hopefully won’t get a lot of the “you lie, no you lie” back and forth that we get from regular debates but CNN promises fireworks nonetheless.  Also, because there’s only three on per night some people can’t claim they were short changed on time if everything is even.

The events will air live on CNN, CNN International and CNN en Espanol and be streamed live online on CNNGo.

Meanwhile over at MSNBC…

Donald Trump gets the stage all to himself tonight. MSNBC hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski will be “moderating” a Trump town hall, live, coincidentally starting at 8 ET this evening.  I am not even going to speculate what the format will be although it is suppose to last one hour.
