Reality & Truth: US, Britain Help Saudis with Killing Yemeni Civilians

Let’s assume for a moment that we are not living in a reality-based universe.
Let’s also assume that Iran is the worst possible actor in this imaginary place while Saudi Arabia and its US-NATO partners all stand on the right side of the universal law. Even then the warmongers don’t have any right whatsoever to bomb the innocent people of Yemen under the pretext of fighting what they claim to be “Iranian proxies”.
True, Iran is the bad apple of this imaginary universe, but it does in no way give any justification to the regime changers to bomb another sovereign nation just because they can. And bombing a sovereign nation is what they have been doing throughout the first ten months of the Saudi war on Yemen. What’s more, they don’t even care about the repeated criticism from the United Nations and human rights groups over the disproportionate number of civilians being killed in their airstrikes. They don’t even deny the killings!
Quite the opposite, the Saudis and their regional partners in crime are only “promising changes” to their airstrike targeting in Yemen. They say US and British military experts will be advising them on how to get the civilian toll down – which means up until now they were targeting civilians as well.
Strange enough, the Saudis also don’t deny the fact that the US and NATO have been involved in their war from the start, or that they have repeatedly been involved in targeting advice throughout. Silly how in the middle of all this mess, they now say they want to change course and get the civilian death toll down!
Does this reveal the fact that they have been “systematically” targeting civilians and deliberately starving the Yemeni population with their naval blockade? The answer is yes. Does this amount to crimes against humanity? Again, the answer is yes. Does this also mean there will be some reaction from the UN department of accountability? Tragic enough, the answer is no.
Whatever the scope of the bloodcurdling war, the high civilian death toll shows the United States, Britain and Saudi Arabia have learned nothing from the doomed war on Yemen.
The sorry state of affairs in Iraq and Syria is similar, where terrorist groups – their proxy forces – are fighting a protracted and futile guerrilla warfare in the demented galaxy of Wahhabi extremism. It’s only a matter of time before their goons there also start walking away in humiliation – just as the US did from Afghanistan and Iraq after declaring “Mission Accomplished.”
No doubt, the American-Israeli-Saudi experiment to advocate a doctrine of permanent sectarian war, destabilize the region, intimidate independent nations, and behead political opponents is now going nowhere.
Here is what the world needs to know: Just like Washington’s, the repute and the credibility of Royal youthful in Riyadh has grown feeble. Despite their childish behaviours and mischiefs, the House of Saud and its partners in crime will never be able to subjugate the people of Yemen, let alone redraw the map of the Middle East to the liking of their US-Israeli masters. Like it or not, they are living in a reality-based universe, where they have their limits.
