GOP RINOs Just Proved They Don’t Care About Your Gun Rights!

We here at Conservative Daily have not endorsed anyone for President, yet. We have said publicly that each candidate has his flaws, but any one of the Republicans would be an infinitely better choice than Hillary Clinton.
What is absolutely mind boggling is that the entire GOP establishment has coalesced to rally against Donald Trump in less than a week but when it comes to fighting Obama’s lawlessness, they couldn’t get anything done in 7 years…
Truly, let that sink in. Regardless of whether you support Trump or not, the hypocrisy is clear. They have done more to try to sink Trump’s candidacy in under a week than they ever did to try to stop Obama. They're letting his gun ban go through.
You don’t know about his executive order to confiscate guns from up to 75,000 social security beneficiaries a year?
That was one of his executive orders from earlier this year. Paul Ryan says the executive orders are harmless and a distraction. He’s lying. This is the largest and most immediate threat to the 2nd Amendment that we’ve faced in years!
Here’s how it works. Barack Obama’s executive order instructs the Social Security Administration to copy a Veterans Administration program that used extremely questionable reasoning to disarm American veterans.
The administration has altered the definition of “mental disability” to include any beneficiary who has a “designated payee” assigned to help with managing his or her finances.
These people are not a threat to themselves or others. I am talking about people who just need help making sure that their bills get paid on time.
What are some of the reasons that the Social Security Administration assigns beneficiaries a designated payee? They might not have a car and need a family member to make their bank deposits for them. They might live far away from the bank or grocery store so they delegate that responsibility as well. Or they might just admit that they are terrible at finance and want to just assign that responsibility to a family member. These are both legitimate reasons listed by the SSA for assigning a designated payee.
Why on earth does not owning a car or needing help depositing checks mean you are unfit to own a gun???
The program is a mirror image of what was developed at the VA, where perfectly competent veterans were disarmed after being convinced to assign a family member to help manage their finances. It is estimated that hundreds of thousands of veterans were stripped of their 2nd Amendment rights unjustly this way. In 2013, it was estimated that the VA had disarmed over 135,000 veterans in a fashion similar to this.
Now, they’re taking this unconstitutional program and moving it over to the Social Security Administration where many more people have been assigned designated payees. The program is moving full steam ahead. True conservatives have introduced a simple, one page piece of legislation to put a stop to this forever but Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell couldn’t care less about your gun rights!
If the President can unconstitutionally disarm even just one of us, then we are all at risk.
A Congressman put a resolution up for a vote to express “severe disapproval” of Obama’s gun ban and Ryan and McConnell won’t even let that come up for a vote.
Senators Dean Heller (R-NV) and Mike Crapo (R-ID) have introduced the Social Security Beneficiary 2nd Amendment Rights Protection Act in the Senate. Rep. Sam Johnson (R-TX) has introduced the House version.
This bill is one page long and would permanently put a stop to Obama’s plan to wrongfully disarm elderly Social Security beneficiaries!
“No determination by the Commissioner of Social Security with respect to an individual, including a determination that benefits under this title to which such individual is entitled shall be paid to a representative payee, shall be considered to be a determination that the individual has been adjudicated as a mental defective…”
Essentially, it says that the Obama administration cannot take a beneficiary who needs help managing their finances and put them in the same category as someone with complete dementia.
Which is completely common sense. Financial illiteracy does not disqualify someone from owning a firearm. Admitting you need help making sure the bills get paid on time does not mean you pose a threat to yourself or others.
This gun ban is moving through. They are already drafting letters to be sent to Social Security Beneficiaries, telling them they are no longer allowed to own firearms. If we don’t stop this right now, it will be too late!
