The calls for heightened security all over the place continue to pile up after the terror attacks in Brussels on Tuesday. As we reported yesterday, most European Union members are now calling for a continent-wide intelligence superpower, which most likely be built around Europol, the European police force. On Wednesday, new calls have been issued to enhance security at strategic places in major cities in Europe. In addition to meeting to discuss whether or not member states want to hand over all intelligence gathering to Europol, the EU commission will also host a number of so-called security experts to determine the viability of installing security checkpoints outside airports. A group of experts from member countries of the Ehttp://real-agenda.com/wp-admin/plugins.phpuropean Union, will meet next week to discuss how to strengthen security at airports in the Twenty-eight countries after the attacks in Brussels on March 22, which took the lives of at least 34 people. According to confirmed sources of the European Commission, this body will serve as host on March 31, before another meeting of security experts who will assess land transport security. That meeting is scheduled for April 31. In addition to Europe, the fear-mongering being used by politicians and bureaucrats is not limited to Europe. In the United States, voices are already calling for changes in the protocols used in airports and are asking for new security measures. This dishonest politicians ask for security are airports while refusing to close the US borders, which are key in maintaining security in the country. Hillary Clinton, the leading Democratic frontrunner for President of the United States, said Wednesday in Washington that the attacks in Brussels are a “brutal and last reminder” that something must be done to fight the militants of the Islamic State. In this regard, she added that her country and Europe should take a “good look” at the security measures at airports and other “vulnerable areas” that are outside security perimeters. The authors of the attack at the Zaventem airport, entered the facility without going through any security checks, as it is common in all airports in the continent. Security checks are only performed before passengers enter the boarding areas, where airport security and scanners are placed in an effort to detect banned products and weapons. What the global security complex would like to do is to control security in the whole continent, removing that power from the national prerogative. That is why the current protocols are being questioned by everyone. The idea is to raise enough questions to gain support for more police state measures. A few voices have shown opposition and have said that “security is a national prerogative.” “The Commission will not impose a small airport in Finland the same security measures that may be necessary in the main facilities of the EU, as Brussels or Paris,” explained EU sources, who have also stressed that it is up to each State to assess the possibility of installing security scanners at the entrance of such facilities. In this regard, the Commercial Association of European Airports has stressed that the adoption of security measures such as controls of people and goods entering the air through ground facilities “could lead to new vulnerabilities “. “By concentrating passengers and their relatives or friends in spaces that are not designed for that purpose, security has been compromised,” said the association in a statement.
