Board of Elections: Chief Clerk Suspended After Brooklyn Voter Purge | 21 April 2016 | A New York City Board of Elections official was suspended without pay after more than 125,000 people were purged from the voter rolls in Brooklyn, according to the agency. Chief Clerk Diane Haslett-Rudiano accidentally kicked active voters off the list after doing a routine update to eliminate people who have died or moved, the New York Daily News first reported…The New York State Attorney General's Office is also investigating the Board of Elections after it received more than 1,000 complaints during primary day.
