After Donald Trump’s somnolent victory speech tonight, he took questions from the media. During the Q&A, Trump revealed that he considers himself to be the “presumptive nominee.”
Unfortunately, math disagrees with Trump. “Presumptive nominee” means you have clinched the nomination and are just waiting for it to be official. Trump is still about 300 delegates short of that number. So, what Trump considers himself in his own head is not tremendously relevant; no one is going to start calling him that.
