Syria – Russia Rejects Kerry’s New Attempts To Shield The Terrorists

…………..Kerry recently again tried to convince the Russian government of partitioning Syria into “zones of interest”. This would shield terrorist forces form further Syrian and Russian attacks:

“We’ve even proposed drawing a line, an absolute line, and saying, ‘You don’t go over there, we don’t go over here, and anything in between is fair game.’ And they are considering that, and I think we will get there in the next week or so.”

The rather harsh public response to that Kerry nonsense came in today:

MFA Russia @mfa_russia

#Lavrov: Splitting Syria into zones of influence is a simplistic idea; the main objective must be to route terrorism @mod_russia @RussiaUN

#Lavrov: US has not fulfilled its promise made two months ago to move “good opposition forces” away from the terrorist front lines in Syria

#Lavrov: The US State Dept. may shy away from cooperation with Russia, but there is no place for shyness in the fight against terrorism

#Lavrov: The UNSC declared Jabhat al-Nusra a terrorist group. Those who want to distance themselves from this group should do so physically

Translation: Get your proxies out of the way or they will get hurt badly.

The U.S. “plan B” of splitting Syria into statelets has been rejected by the Syrian government and its allies.

The Syrian government and its allies are convinced that they can beat al-Qaeda and its various associates on the battle field. They are preparing a large attack against al-Qaeda and anyone nearby. There is little the U.S. can do to help the designated terrorists of al-Nusra in west Syria. But it continues its attempts to split Syria by inserting more of its special forces into north east Syria. These and their Kurdish proxy fighters have the task to take as much of eastern Syria from the Islamic State and others as possible before the Syrian government forces can do so. The thinking is that any captured town will be an asset in future negotiations. It will be interesting to see how the Syrian government and its allies will counter that move.

Syria in Last 24 Hours: Army Destroys Militants’ Defense Lines in Lattakia ProvinceThe Syrian army and popular forces destroyed the defense lines of the Takfiri terrorists in Lattakia province.

The army units backed by the popular forces inflicted heavy losses on the militants in Lattakia province, killing scores of militants and injuring many more in heavy clashes.

The Syrian army and popular forces also hit hard the military positions of the Takfiri terrorists in other key provinces across Syria.

Lattakia

The Syrian army and popular forces, backed up by Russia’s air support, continued their advances against the Takfiri terrorist groups in the Northeastern parts of Lattakia province near the border with neighboring Idlib on Tuesday.

The Al-Nusra Front terrorists sustained heavy losses and casualties in tough battle with the army units and the National Defense Forces (NDF) on the outskirts of Kabani.

Scores of Al-Nusra Front terrorists were killed and wounded in the Syrian army and Russian air force attacks.

Damascus

Syrian Army troops engaged in fierce clashes with the ISIL terrorists in Eastern Qalamoun and forced the militants to retreat from their positions in the Eastern part of al-Dumeir airbase.

The Syrian soldiers’ offensives in the Northeastern part of the capital city of Damascus inflicted a heavy death toll on the ISIL and forced the terrorist group to pull the remaining pockets of its forces back from a battlefield near al-Thakneh al-Mahjoureh (abandoned garrison).

The army started to fortify its positions in the liberated region as soon as the ISIL left the battlefield.

Reports said earlier on Tuesday that the Syrian Army troops and the National Defense Forces (NDF) pushed terrorists back from more territories in Eastern Ghouta and restored security to a vast region after hours of non-stop battle.

The terrorists of Jeish al-Islam and Faylaq al-Rahman left behind tens of the dead or wounded members and fled the battlefield near the region of Bala al-Kadhima under the heavy offensives of the Syrian government forces.

Bala al-Kadhima is now under the full control of the Syrian army and popular forces.

The Syrian soldiers and NDF further pushed towards Harasta al-Qantara and deployed their forced to its outskirts.

Harasta al-Qantara is close to Marj al-Sultan airbase.

Deir Ezzur

The Syrian Army troops alongside the NDF repelled ISIL’s attempts to prevail over the government forces’ strongholds in one of the districts of the Eastern city of Deir Ezzur, forcing them to retreat.

The Syrian government forces targeted the ISIL bomb-laden suicide cars and fended off the terrorist group’s assaults in al-Sina’ah district.

The ISIL left behind tens of the dead or wounded members and fled the battlefront to evade more casualties.

Homs

The Russian and Syrian Air Forces, in a fresh round of coordinated operations, targeted positions and oil facilities of the ISIL in the Eastern parts of Homs province, slowing down the terrorist group’s military-supplying movements.

The ISIL strongholds in surroundings of al-Sukhneh, oil well of Arak and Oil Pumping Station of T3 in the Eastern part of the ancient city of Palmyra (Tadmur) came under the heavy air attacks of the Syrian and Russian air fleet.

The ISIL suffered a heavy death toll in the attacks and their military hardware sustained major damage in the strikes.

The ISIL-held oil well of Arak and Station T3 destroyed badly and are out of service.

Idlib

Concentration centers of the terrorist groups near at least four small but strategic towns in the Southern part of Idlib province were massively targeted by the Syrian fighter jets.

Tens of the terrorists were killed or wounded in the Syrian air fleets’ bombardments near the small towns of Tamanna, Maarat, Kafr Sijneh and Maarat Zita.

The Syrian air attacks also inflicted major damage on the terrorist groups’ military hardware.

The air attacks were heavy and did not allow the militant groups to carry out their normal military movements in the region.

The Syrian Armed Forces in the Northeastern part of Lattakia province are ready for the OK of their commanders to storm their large-scale anti-terrorism operations in the Southern part of Idlib aimed at liberating the strategic city of Jisr al-Shughour.

Aleppo

The Syrian Army aircraft, in several combat flights, targeted the terrorist groups’ positions on the Western outskirts of Aleppo city, pinning the militants down behind their strongholds.

The Syrian fighter jets struck the terrorists’ lines of defense in Rashedeen 4 and 4 in the Western part of Aleppo city, which ended in the destruction of the militants’ military and logistic vehicles.

The terrorist groups also suffered major casualties in the attacks.

The attacks slowed down the terrorists’ military movements in the targeted districts.

Meantime, the gathering centers of al-Nusra Front and Ahrar al-Sham terrorist groups along their supply routes to the Northern city of Aleppo were heavily bombed by the Russian fighter jets, military sources said, adding the terrorists suffered a heavy death toll in the attacks.

“The Russian warplanes carried out several combat flights over the terrorist groups’ strongholds near the village of al-Mansoureh and Khan al-Assal in the Western part of Aleppo province, which ended in the killing or wounding of several militants,” the sources said.

“The Russian air fleet also bombed terrorists’ sites near the hilltop town of Tal al-Eis in the Southern territories of the province and inflicted major damage on the sites’ infrastructures,” they further added.

Military sources announced on Monday that the Syrian Army equipped its combat units with the Russian-Made BTR-82A armored personnel carriers to enable them to have more rapid and safer anti-terrorism missions in their large-scale operations in the Northern province of Aleppo.

“The Russian BTR-82A armored personnel carriers redeployed by the Syrian Army in the Aleppo province in preparation for an imminent large-scale operation there,” the sources said.

“The smart Russian BTR-82A carriers were transported from the Lattakia to Aleppo in the first wave of advanced arms shipment to Aleppo,” they further added.

Raqqa

The ISIL terrorist group executed 21 of its own members in the Northeastern city of Raqqa on charges of fleeing the battlefield, informed sources said.

“At least 21 members of the ISIL were arrested by the Takfiri terrorist group’s security forces and executed on charge of escaping battles against the Syrian government forces across the country,” the source said adding, “A number the ISIL commanders have also been relocated to the terrorist group’s positions in Iraq.”

All of this confirms that the US has taken to being the bad guy while deceiving the people here into believing that the US represents freedom and democracy, I still believe that the spoils of war which is oil and a oil pipe line is the objective of the west for this region of the world. However the unforeseen price of all of this is the cost of the oil and the pipe line in the end.
