Patrick Ruffini, a founding partner and Chairman of D.C.-based political media firm Engage, LLC, has been doing some heavy-duty tweeting about “Trumpbots” that he claims have been working in unison to slander republican presidential candidate Senator Ted Cruz, while promoting his opponent presidential candidate Donald Trump.
While it has been exposed at TrevorLoudon.com that self-proclaimed pro-Trump “liberals” are heavily active on social media, and that some of these operatives have made up fake stories to slander Ted Cruz, (see here, and here), Ruffini has been able to uncover metrics about what he refers to as “Trumpbots.”
It should be noted that many of the fake pro-Trump and anti-Cruz “news” stories being spread originate from outside the United States, particularly Macedonia.
Looks like @PatrickRuffini has outed Trump’s scam social media House of Cards. Follow him for the info.

TrumpBot tweets I collected last night now disappeared. Also includes likely bot accounts. https://t.co/bPIwQYu937

Original tweet scrubbed and it seems like all who tweeted it on their own either deleted or had account suspended.

Daily Caller has captured the disappeared tweets. Incredibly dumb of them to try and cover it up. https://t.co/JRtHMD3jjP

One cannot help but wonder what percentage of Trump trolls are Trumpbots, paid liberal operatives versus genuine Trump supporters. This author cannot help but think of the Alinsky’s rule “Power is not only what you have, but what the enemy thinks you have.”
