The GOP electorate gave up to Donald Trump last night, but we should not.
Ever since Super Tuesday, and doubly so since New York, the NYC-dominated press has been pushing the line that Donald Trump is the inevitable nominee. While we active few on the Internet are able to break through that message to see what the truth was, most voters are watching Fox or CNN. Fox News has the highest ratings of basic cable now.
So last night, faced with what they believed to be Trump as the nominee, the GOP gave up. But I will stand with Ted Cruz.

It’s not over, but people have given up. Turnout was down as people assumed Trump would win. Yet, as much as the “BIG WINS” are being hyped in the press, last nights results were largely expected. He overperformed his projection a little, which is what we said all along he’d do in states he wins.
It’s still not over because California is the prize. California must be won by Trump. He must win enough delegates there to get close, so that New Jersey, plus some uncommitted delegates from places like Pennsylvania, can get him over the top to a first ballot win.
A first ballot majority remains Trump’s only realistic chance at the nomination, because in the runoff he starts losing delegates to Ted Cruz, in an effort led by delegate wizard Ken Cuccinelli. Cooch himself won at a convention his nomination for Virginia governor.
I’m not ready to give up. If Trump is the nominee, I’m voting for Hillary Clinton in a swing state, so I’m not giving up and burning down this Grand Old Party until he wins the vote in Cleveland. I’m confident Ted Cruz isn’t giving up, either.
Stand with Ted. Keep on fighting. The Republican Party has a proud history and it’d be a shame to see it burned down by the likes of Donald Trump.
