(Before It's News)

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo will soon run out of places, other than Communist Cuba, to send state workers to, at this rate.

In response to Mississippi Governor Phil Bryant signing House Bill 1523, or the Protecting Freedom of Conscience from Government Discrimination Act into law, Cuomo once again felt necessary to call for a ban on non-essential travel. Last week, it was to North Carolina.

Part of the new law states:

The legislation guards against the discrimination of individuals, religious organizations and certain businesses who have “sincerely held religious beliefs or moral convictions” that marriage “should be recognized as the union of one man and one woman.”

Under the law, religious leaders can decline to “solemnize any marriage” or provide wedding-related services based on religious or moral objections. In addition, Mississippians can decided “whether or not to hire, terminate or discipline an individual whose conduct or religious beliefs are inconsistent” with their own ideals.

The new law is set to go into effect on July 1, 2016. For now, Governor Bryant and the state of Mississippi can expect the same level of pressure from cultural Marxists that North Carolina and other states with similar measures in place have had to endure.
