Arrogance: Obama Promises Complete Surrender to UN Climate Treaty!
Dear Conservative,
As you read this, two things are happening: (1) UN Globalists are meeting in Bonn, Germany to finalize implementation of the UN Climate Change Treaty and (2) Barack Obama is meeting with world leaders in Vietnam to strategize on implementing the climate treaty without Congressional approval.
What Obama is doing is literally surrendering our sovereignty and the United Nations is more than willing to accept!
When the founders wrote the Constitution, they implemented the 2/3 ratification requirement for a reason. It takes 67 Senators to vote in favor of an international trade agreement because the American people should always have a say in whether international treaties become US law.
The UN, for example, cannot force us to abide by one of its laws. Only Congress can ratify an international agreement.
Obama, however, has a different interpretation. He is promising to implement the treaty’s core requirements by executive order and then give away American tax dollars to other countries implementing the treaty!
Not only will this radical approach lead to a massive loss of US energy and manufacturing jobs, but Obama is literally giving money to our biggest jobs-competitors so they can upgrade their energy and manufacturing sectors!
That’s where the money’s going. Obama has already given $500 MILLION to countries like India so they can build new power plants and manufacturing centers.
Meanwhile, our own infrastructure is literally crumbling around us and more than 50% of our country's power plants pre-date the Ronald Reagan presidency…
That is how arrogant Obama is. While our manufacturing jobs are being shipped overseas and our power plants are ageing out, Obama is giving away hundreds of millions of dollars.
Conservative Congressmen and Senators are gearing up to force a vote to stop Obama from illegally and unconstitutionally implementing this horrible climate agreement.
With the UN preparing to release its implementation plan over the next two days, it is absolutely crucial that we stop this NOW!
Obama has perfected his strategy of circumventing Congress.
When he put forward the UN Arms Trade Treaty last year, Congress emphatically voted it down. So, Obama took the core principles of the UN Arms Trade Treaty and implemented them unilaterally. This isn’t just a talking point, it is a fact.
It is now next to impossible to import firearms into the United States from Russia and much of Eastern Europe after Obama banned these imports;
Obama’s ATF has been working tirelessly to ban some of the most popular types of ammunition in the country, such as the AR-15’s M855 ammunition and the AK-74’s 5.45×39 ammunition;
Obama’s executive orders will now add the entire list of disabled social security beneficiaries to the FBI’s background check database so they can disarm even more Americans;
And thanks to Obama, hundreds of thousands of WWII and Korean War guns that our soldiers left in South Korea have been banned from being re-imported into the country.
This is exactly what the UN Arms Treaty was trying to accomplish: a new registry of gun owners and a halt on arms and ammunition exports/imports. Obama has accomplished all of it without Congressional approval.
Now, he is doing the same with the UN Climate Change Treaty and praying that you don't notice!
