LAX Increasing Security Measures in Wake of Terrorism Concerns Over EgyptAir Crash | 19 May 2016 | Officials at the Los Angeles International Airport have increased security measures in the wake of the crash of an Egyptian jetliner flight from Paris to Cairo from possible terrorism. “The safety and security of passengers, airport workers, and visitors is our number one priority,” LAX Airport Police said in a statement. “In light of EgyptAir flight MS804, which disappeared over the Mediterranean Sea, we have heightened our security posture and enhanced our counter-terrorism security measures at our Los Angeles World Airport airports.”
