(Before It's News)

Due to recent comments uttered by the campaign of a Republican Presidential Candidate, The Reform Party of the United States would like to reaffirm its support of the first amendment. This amendment, ratified by the Founding Fathers, is the key cornerstone to American Freedom and Liberty. The Reform Party also believes that protecting the first amendment rights of all Americans is one of the most important duties of the American Courts, the Federal Congress and the President of the United States.

The first amendment reads:

“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”

The Reform Party stands against any institution or politician that wishes to abridge the rights afforded to the American People by the Constitution of the United States.
