I had a great time today presenting my thoughts on transparency in government to a William & Mary politics course. (Spoiler alert–I love transparency!)

Because we are currently celebrating FOIA’s 50th birthday with the #50DaysofFOIA campaign, I thought that other folks might have use for an introductory presentation on public transparency. Help celebrate 50 years of freedom of information by checking out the following presentation, either in Slideshare form or in PDF below. (Click on links and pictures for more content.)

Follow the #50DaysofFOIA hashtag on Twitter for more great resources on FOIA!

The Sunlight Foundation is a non-profit, nonpartisan organization that uses the power of the Internet to catalyze greater government openness and transparency, and provides new tools and resources for media and citizens, alike.
