Trump’s Fantasy: He’ll Beat Clinton and He’s Got Foreign Policy Skills

(Before It's News)

Donald Trump stumbled through dual delusions in the early hours of Monday morning. Neither of them come close to reality and both speak to the boastful arrogance of a man with no idea what he’s doing.

The first delusion that the obnoxious swindler seems to be grappling with is that beating Hillary Clinton in the general election should be easy.

“We are going to win,” Trump said. “Polls are just now coming out where I’m tied with Hillary, one just came out where I’m ahead of Hillary, and I haven’t started on Hillary yet.”

Actually, an Indiana poll released yesterday has Trump leading Clinton in a head-to-head matchup. With the exception of Rasmussen, however, every poll has Clinton with a comfortable lead.

The Rasmussen poll has Trump and Clinton tied. If pitted against Sanders, the gap becomes even wider, in Sanders’ favor.

The second outrageous bit of nonsense the gilded toad wants to begin the week with is that he has more foreign policy experience than anyone in the race.

This was his knee-jerk reaction to a joke tossed in his general direction by President Obama over the weekend, at the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner.

“In fairness, he has spent years meeting with leaders from around the world: Miss Sweden, Miss Argentina, Miss Azerbaijan,” Obama said Saturday night.

This was in reference to Trump’s beauty pageant connections.

So the man who had to be schooled on what the Nuclear Triad is by Senator Marco Rubio, had to be informed that China had no involvement with the TPP trade agreement by Senator Rand Paul (after a lengthy on-stage diatribe about it, during a debate), and was embarrassed by radio host, Hugh Hewitt, when he confused the Quds with the Kurds, thinks he has more foreign policy experience than two senators, a former Secretary of State, and a governor.

“I do deal with leaders around the world, I built a great company,” Trump said on CNN. “Right now we have hundreds of deals being negotiated all over the world by my company. I deal with presidents, and I deal with prime ministers, I deal with everybody.”

“I probably have more experience than virtually anybody looking at this office,” Trump said, adding that he “made a lot of money.”

Trump can’t shake the notion that running a country is not the same as running a company, and if some of these “deals” he’s working out in other nations are any indicator of how he’ll manage the presidency, we’d better all hit our knees and pray for sanity to prevail in this race.

  • Hillary will how win. Americans had a chance to vote for a clear Constitutional Conservative who would have brought Texas Justice with him to a corrupt bunch of crooks. Now we will see more change than the British subjects saw as the began their long quest for freedom. If I have said it once, I have said it a million times, you cannot get something back you have already lost and just as Obama refuses to say,”Extreme Muslim Jihadists,” Americans just cannot say that “America is dead.” But, here in the Republic of Texas, as all our highway signs say, “Don’t Mess With Texas.” And as one of our first Presidents, General Sam Houston said, “Texas has yet to learn submission.” It looks as though we will be taking our toys and going home. I really do not want to go into all of our securities, such as having, like the Americans, our own Declaration of Independence, our own power grid, TX Navy TX Air, TX Guard answerable only to our Governor, TX Coastguard, TX Rangers, TX vets who can walk into battle yesterday, and the multitudes of militias. If counted yet again as a Nation, our GNP would come up at 14th, just behind Canada and Russia. They should have built that Keystone, for the US gets 3/4 of all its natural gas and oil courtesy of the Lone Star’s pipelines, 1/3 of all the drilling in the world is right off of our Gulf of Mexico in Galveston and then there is the great shipping port of the Authority of Houston, the 3rd largest city in the US. And we have some great people up front to take the lead. And as the Commander of the Japanese Fleet was explaining to his Emperor as to why they couldn’t hit the homeland? He said,”Because there would be a weapon behind every blade of grass!” We are not the wild, wild, West, but we are safer for it. P. Kathy Kleiman San Antonio, The Republic of Texas!
