A pretty good rundown below from GOP pollster Scott Rasmussen detailing Trump’s path to victory over Clinton. Basically, it runs through the Midwest.
If Trump can pick up industrial states where worker disenfranchisement has fueled both his campaign and that of Sen Bernie Sanders — Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, and Wisconsin, all states Mitt Romney lost — plus maybe North Carolina, he wins. He doesn’t even need Florida, which Obama only barely won in 2012. And he could lose swing states like Nevada, Colorado, and Virginia.
This is very, very doable, and a lot of Democrats and prognosticators are deceiving themselves. Shocking as it may seem to many, Donald Trump could be president.
BTW, here’s a map where you can play around with the electoral votes yourself.
