Hillary Clinton Wins Washington, D.C., Democratic Primary | 14 June 2016 | The Democratic presidential primary officially ended Tuesday night with Hillary Clinton notching a decisive victory in Washington, D.C., capping a race in which she overcame a surprisingly strong challenge from rival Bernie Sanders. With 17% of the votes counted, Mrs. Clinton was proclaimed the winner by the Associated Press with 78.3% of the vote. Washington has only 20 delegates up for grabs.
