US-Russia war may be waged because of Raqqa
Pravda Report

Financial Times claimed that the Syrian troops in Raqqa may generate a clash between Russian and American forces in the capital of the ISIS fighters. The US is at opposition soldiers’ backs, while Russia supports the government army. Two armies advancing Raqqa may carry out a simultaneous offence, trying to seize the strategically important city. However, Mikhail Aleksandrov, leading expert at the Center for Military and Political Studies in MGIMO, doubted such course of events. The expert believes that the US may provoke a conflict between government army and the Kurds. Forces of terror opposition, which are under the US control, may attack the Syrian army under the guise of Kurds.

Syria in Last 24 Hours: Army Wins Back More Key Villages in Aleppo Province

The Syrian army regained full control over strategic villages after fierce clashes with the terrorists in Aleppo province in the last 24 hours.

The popular fighters won back Fars Saqir and Fares al-Kabir in Aleppo province.

Scores of terrorists were killed and injured as the army was purging them from the newly captured areas in Aleppo province.

The Syrian army, popular forces and resistance forces also continued their military gains in other key provinces across Syria, inflicting heavy losses on them.

Aleppo

The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), predominantly comprising of Kurdish fighters, continued their advances near the town of Manbij by seizing back a strategic village, and killed over three dozen Takfiri terrorists.

The SDF forces are now in full control of the village of Fares Saqir to the East of Manbij.

At least 40 ISIL terrorists were killed in tough battle with the Kurdish fighter in the countryside of Manbij.

Meantime, the Syrian Democratic Forces continued to hit the ISIL positions near the strategic Tishrin dam and in a border region with Turkey and captured more villages in Northeastern Aleppo.

The SDF stormed the ISIL lines of defense near Tishrin dam and captured two villages of Fares al-Kabir and al-Mohadetheh, which also ended in the killing or wounding of scores of the terrorists.

The SDF combatants also forced the ISIL to pull its forces back from the villages of al-Bowyer, Bourkij, Mazra’ah and Wajab al-Kalb in Qarah Qouzan region near Manbij, which also left at least 26 militants dead and many more injured.

The SDF also clashes with the ISIL near the village of Khafasheh in Northern battlefield of Tishrin dam and freed the village.

Reports said earlier on Tuesday that the fighters of Manbij Military Council, affiliated to the SDF, hit the terrorist groups’ positions hard near the Northeastern border of Aleppo province with Turkey and captured two more villages.

The SDF fighters continued to advance along the road connecting Manbij to the border town of Jarabulus in Qarah Qouzan battlefield and liberated the village of Khirbet Ayoush seven kilometers to the East of Manbij.

The SDF fighters also stormed the Takfiri terrorists’ defense lines near the villages of Majra al-Nahr al-Tahtani near Jarabulus river and freed it in hours of non-stop battle.

On Tuesday, the Syrian army continued to purge the Eastern part of the Damascus countryside of terrorists, and discovered a large weapons depot there.

Hama

Over 20 terrorists of al-Nusra Front and Ahrar al-Sham were killed and many more were wounded in clashes with the Syrian military forces in Northern Hama.

The Syrian Army troops’ anti-terrorism attacks near the small town of Atshan ended in the killing of over 20 militants from al-Nusra and Ahrar al-Sham.

The army soldiers also clashed with the ISIL terrorists near Wadi al-Azib region and repelled their attacks on government forces’ positions near Ithriya-al Salmiyeh road.

The Syrian army men and their allies stormed the terrorist groups’ gatherings near the village of Hanifeh West of al-Salmiyeh in Southern Hama and killed or injured several terrorists there.

Reports said earlier on Tuesday that the Syrian pro-government forces repelled ISIL’s offensives on their strongholds in Northeastern Hama that could block their advance towards Western Raqqa.

The Syrian government forces hit the ISIL hard and did not allow them to break through the army’s defense lines and capture a key road near the city of Ithriya and forced them to pull its militants back form the battlefield.

The ISIL could not cut off the government forces’ communication lines from Hama to Raqqa and fled the battlefield under the heavy fire of the Syrian army men.

Damascus

A senior terrorist commander was killed in fierce clashes with the Syrian soldiers in Damascus countryside on Tuesday.

Abu Shadi, the notorious field commander of Liwa al-Shohada al-Islam terrorist group, was killed in heavy clashes with the Syrian military forces near the town of Darayya in Western Ghouta to the Southwest of Damascus.

The army units seized a huge amount of weapons from the terrorists’ depot near the town of Jobar in Eastern Damascus countryside.

Jobar town is still under the terrorists’ control and the presence of a large number of tunnels there has made the Syrian army face many difficulties to advance in the area.

The discovered weapons belonged to Ahrar al-Sham Movement terrorist group.

Homs

The Syrian army troops and National Defense Forces (NDF) carried out a fresh round of anti-ISIL offensives in Northeastern Homs and forced the Takfiri group to retreat from more key heights.

The Syrian pro-government forces hit the ISIL strongholds hard and captured Tal Sawwan hilltop and several other heights around it after conducting a cleansing operation in Northeast Homs.

With Tal Sawwan under their control, the Syrian Armed Forces will now concentrate their efforts at al-Sha’er mountain.

Deir Ezzur

The Syrian fighter jets, in a fresh round of combat sorties, hit the ISIL concentration centers and gatherings across the Eastern province of Deir Ezzur and the Northeastern province of Raqqa, inflicting major losses on the militants.

The Syrian army aircraft pounded two bases of the ISIL near al-Resafeh crossroad, which ended in destruction of the militants’ vehicles.

Commander: Iraq to Retake Fallujah from ISIL Within Days

A high-ranking Iraqi army commander said government forces, together with fighters from allied Popular Mobilization units, are poised to liberate Fallujah from ISIL within the next few days.

“The security forces are advancing towards central Fallujah from the southern side but doing so cautiously, to preserve civilian lives,” Lieutenant General Abdelwahab al-Saadi, the commander of Fallujah Liberation Operations said on Tuesday, presstv reported.

“In the coming days,” he said, “we will declare the liberation of Fallujah” which is located roughly 69 kilometers (43 miles) West of the capital, Baghdad.

The Iraqi Joint Operations Command announced in a statement that the astounding number of improvised explosive devices (IEDs) planted by ISIL militants has slowed the progress of army soldiers to push deep into Fallujah.

“There are tunnels and between 150 and 200 bombs are defused every 100 meters,” the statement read.

“Our information is that ISIL has prepared car bombs which they are hiding in homes, with the intention of attacking us when we enter,” it added.

Meanwhile, at least eight civilians have reportedly died after ISIL extremists forced them to give excessive blood for militants injured during clashes with Iraqi government forces in Fallujah.

An Iraqi medical source, speaking on condition of anonymity, said ISIL terrorists have ordered Fallujah residents aged between 16 and 50 to give blood, threatening them with 60 lashes if they don’t.

The source said that a large number of Fallujah residents are ignoring the call to give blood following the death of the eight civilians.

Fallujah was overrun by ISIL in January 2014, and civilians have attempted to flee the city in the face of the terrorist group’s atrocities ever since.
