Sorry Obama: 7-Year-Old Girl Shoots AR-15 for the First Time (Video)
I would pay good money to see this story land on Obama’s desk… just to see the smoke come out of his ears…
Of all the maudlin pieces of anti-gun hysteria that appeared in the wake of the Orlando shooting, few were quite as ridiculous as the specter of a liberal New York Daily News reporter firing an AR-15 for the first time.
“The recoil bruised my shoulder. The brass shell casings disoriented me as they flew past my face. The smell of sulfur and destruction made me sick. The explosions — loud like a bomb — gave me a temporary case of PTSD,” he wrote. “For at least an hour after firing the gun just a few times, I was anxious and irritable.”
There’s so much wrong with that farrago of nonsense, starting with the fact that the term “temporary PTSD” is about as correct, both medically and politically, as the term “temporary AIDS.” Second, and most importantly, his characterization of the experience of shooting an AR-15 as something akin to crashing a Formula One car at 150 miles an hour inside a Semtex factory is so far off the mark of the actual experience that I half-wondered whether he was Jayson Blair-ing us.
Thankfully, he left us a video so that we could sort of dispel that notion.

We already knew how ridiculous his reaction is. It’s made even more preposterous when we see how this 7-year-old girl shoots the same basic weapon he did.

New York Daily News writer Gersh Kuntzman: “What is it like to fire an AR-15? It’s horrifying, menacing and very, very loud. It felt to me like a bazooka — and sounded like a cannon. … I’ve shot pistols before, but never something like an AR-15. Squeeze lightly on the trigger and the resulting explosion of firepower is humbling and deafening.”

Im tired of hearing how the NRA is some sort of bully that controls everything that happens in D.C.. Since they have over 4.5 million members, they obviously represent more peole than any back door dealing congress critter ever does.
How about the fact that there are something like 100 million gun owners in this country? Why dont politicians pander to us like they do the lgbtq community who combined only make up 3.9% of the poulation?
Over one third of the population owns a gun while less than 12 million prefer their own genitalia to that of the opposite sex. What makes them so special?
The government preferred to destroy our republic in favor of a democracy….It was their choice….So guess what!?! Now you have to deal with it. In a democracy, majority rules and we are the majority!
More people are murdered each year with blunt objects than any type of gun. The same goes for knives and bare hands. More people die in car accidents, drug overdoses, and workplace accidents than by guns. Medical mistakes kill more peole each year than all these things combined yet I don’t hear anyone saying we should ban doctors or the pharmaseutical industry.
The government wants your AR to make it easier to turn you into a slave. They want the one that is most useful for mounting an effective resistance. If they get it, it makes it so much easier to take everything else.
The second ammendment is not about hunting or sparing liberal feelings….It is expressly about fighting back against an over bearing government whose goal is to take your freedoms…….Which is exactly what they are trying to do. The revolution started when the British came to confiscate weapons from the citizens of Boston.
God created all men….Samuel Colt made them equal!
