Neocon Hillary Clinton Launches “Republicans Against Trump”

Submitted by Mike Krieger via Liberty Blitzkrieg blog,

I want to conclude with the most important reason of all not to vote for Hillary Clinton come November. If you do, you will be rubber-stamping everything the Democratic Party and the mainstream media has done during this election cycle. Voting for Hillary Clinton will send a message to the Democratic Party that change is unnecessary. That the status quo can kick you, spit on you and laugh in your face for months straight and get away with it.

Donald Trump is not your problem. Of course, Sanders supporters cannot actually consider voting for the man, but don’t let anyone tell you a vote for a third-party candidate or no vote at all is a “vote for Donald Trump.” The fault is not yours if Trump gets elected. The fault lies with the DNC and the media.

Most importantly, all Sanders supporters need to understand that if you sacrifice your principles and shift to Clinton just to defeat Trump, you have psychologically taken yourself out of the real fight to come. By supporting her to defeat someone who you think is worse you are harming yourself and your ability to think clearly and engage in activism going forward. The best advice I can give anyone is to vote third party or sit this charade out. As such you’ll remain engaged in the real fight, and fully prepared to act as much needed resistance to whichever authoritarian is elected, Trump or Clinton.

Donald Trump may have won the Republican nomination, but the neocons still got one of their own in the Presidential contest. Politico reports: Hillary Clinton is wasting no time trying to woo Republicans turned off by Donald Trump now that she’s the presumptive Democratic nominee, as her campaign has launched a new website aimed at courting disaffected GOP voters.

The website, republicansagainsttrump.org, was registered on May 27 and launched on June 2, according to domain registration records. The Clinton campaign only appears to have begun buying ads to promote the site more recently.

The ads promise potential supporters a “free ‘Republicans Against Trump’ sticker” if you pledge to oppose Trump in the fall.

The small print, if a visitor scrolls to the bottom of the page, reads: “Paid for by Hillary for America.”

Until she clinched the primary, Clinton’s campaign has been leery of openly appealing to Republican voters, lest she turn off progressive backers of her primary rival, Bernie Sanders. But with the nomination sealed mathematically, her campaign now appears comfortable make such solicitations overtly.

Obama: ‘I Am Worried About the Republican Party’
“You want the Republican nominee to be somebody who could do the job if they win.”

“The truth is I am actually worried about the Republican Party,” he said. “This country works when you have two parties that are serious and trying to solve problems. And they’ve got philosophical differences and they have fierce debates and they argue and they contest elections. But at the end of the day, what you want is a healthy two-party system … You want the Republican nominee to be somebody who could do the job if they win.”

“So I am actually not enjoying, and I haven’t been enjoying over the last seven years, watching some of the things that have happened in the Republican Party because there’s some good people in the Republican Party” he added. “But what’s happened in that party culminating in this current nomination, I think is not actually good for the country as a whole. It’s not something Democrats should wish for. And my hope is, is that maybe once you get through this cycle, there’s some corrective action and they get back to being a center-right party.”

Roseanne Barr: ‘We would be so lucky’ if Trump won | TheHill

Comedian Roseanne Barr is rooting for presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump to win the general election over likely rival Hillary Clinton.

“I think we would be so lucky if Trump won,” she told The Hollywood Reporter.

“Because then it wouldn’t be Hilary.”

Barr added, however, that the election system is “all fixed.”

“I think Hillary [Clinton] probably got the receipt, because she paid for the Oval Office,” she said. “And both Trump and Bernie are playing the heel for Hillary.”

She went on to slam Clinton, saying the former secretary of State is friends with “everybody that gives her any goddamned money.”

“The fact is, you don’t get to be the nominee without taking a lot of dirty money,” she said.

“You might be the best f—in’ person on earth, but if you’re hanging out with criminals who do bad things, that matters a lot.”

She then praised Trump for financing his own campaign.

“That’s the only way he could’ve gotten that nomination. Because nobody wants a president who isn’t from Yale and Harvard and in the club. ‘Cause it’s all about distribution,” she said.

“When you’re in the club, you’ve got people that you sell to. That’s how money changes hands, that’s how business works. If you’ve got friends there, they scratch your back and blah, blah.”

Trump is saying that the “order of law matters,” she responded, when asked if she thinks he will act in people’s interests.

“And Trump is saying people will have to be vetted, we’ll have to have legal immigration. It’s all a scam,” she said.

“I mean, illegal immigration. When people come here and they get a lot of benefits that our own veterans don’t get. What’s up with that?”
